  1. Interesting that Mattel, a toy company, has licensed their branding to what is essentially another toy company.
  2. Very cool build! I have a related question. What are the 1968 Plymouth Fury kits? Kind of off topic, but has a 68 Fury III convertible ever been kitted?
  3. Been on Ebay for years, and have had some luck there as both a buyer and a seller. I won't be selling anymore though. I'm not providing banking information to any online entity. PayPal tied to a credit card that only ever gets used for this kind of thing is one thing, personal banking info is another. I haven't tried to buy anything lately, but I think we can still use PayPal to buy. Ah well.
  4. Man, that horn would get annoying after an entire day of this.
  5. I think it's awesome. If the opportunity came up and the funds permitted, I'd be on one of these spaceships with zero hesitation. It would be far more interesting though if the whole "space hotel" idea was happening faster. Being able to have somewhere to go while in space would be great.
  6. Not your best work? Looks pretty dang good to me!
  7. Turned out great! Excellent colour choice.
  8. The crazy thing about Eddie is that he was not sentimental about that guitar and there really were no "steps" or thought process behind it. It was originally black. He literally put some tape stripes on it and spray bombed it white. After a while, put on some more tape stripes and spray bombed it red. Didn't even remove all the tape from the first time. Nailed some truck reflectors on the back. Nailed a nickel into the front of the body to support the bridge, used a chisel to make room for a pickup, used hardware store eyehooks as strap holders. I like the truck! I have this one in the stash, but haven't started it. Have been sort of looking for a second so I could do exactly what you did.
  9. The stretch on the rear wheels is bugging me. Otherwise, I like it!
  10. That Grand Wagoneer is sweet. The new Rubicon 392 is pretty awesome. I have one coming for one of my clients. There's no way a Wrangler needs almost 500hp, but darn it will be fun!
  11. Insects landing in drinks? Meh, I've been an avid camper for 30 years. I've fished many a bug out of my drinks. No big deal at all.
  12. He was great on Night Court! More recently though, I remember seeing him on KC Undercover when my daughter would watch that. Good for some laughs there too!
  13. Aussie drag racing, no. But I watch the Supercar racing all the time. Awesome stuff.
  14. No surprise that the Aoshima version looks to me a better kit than the MPC version. Yours looks great! Especially the interior. Although the show hasn't aged well, I still love it.
  15. That wagon is awesome.
  16. Yup, and I'm proudly part of that fan base! Been a long time VW owner, and spent many years as a VW dealership employee. I love all things VW, even when they were less than good.
  17. This is one of those kits that when given to young kids, it makes them want to go play video games instead. MPC should be embarrassed that they still issue this thing. Having said that, you did an awesome job in making this clunker look good!
  18. I've been hunting one of those (or the Revell version) for quite a while. Can't find anything near my pricing comfort zone!
  19. Looks great! Coffee cup in the cupholder. Will have to remember that detail!
  20. As a massive F1 fan, I am watching this closely. Awesome.
  21. You are doing an excellent job of polishing a turd. Mine has been on and off the bench for a couple of years now. I'm just so frustrated with how it goes together. It's nearing completion and should look okay on the shelf. In the back. In the shadows.
  22. Lolz I knew that guy was familiar! I see there's a Porsche 911 available as well. I'm thinking I might just pick a couple of these up. Just for funsies.
