  1. I scratch built the Weaver auto crane, tool box & added a few details to the engine. Thanks for looking.
  2. I use this all the time. I found that if you use the solution sparingly, put it in a zip lock bag & let it sit a few hours or overnight you get the beat results. Good luck with it, it's lots of fun to use. Here's my latest using this stuff.
  3. Thanks guys. I guess it could go either way. It's bad enough to be junk but good enough to still use. I got the adjustable tow bar built & it's about finished. I'll get some better pics later & post them under glass. Thanks again everyone for the comments.
  4. I got the engine almost finished & some interior work done.
  5. I'm finally back to work so I'm driving this again.?
  6. I got a little paint & weathering started. Working on the engine now.
  7. Great weathering, very realistic.
  8. Great weathering on the Gremlin. I like your old barn too, very convincing.
  9. Thanks guys.
  10. I got the email too and was surprised. I went to the website & can't sign in. Maybe the site will die with the magazine?
  11. Thanks everyone for all the great comments. That actually sounds like something that we could do. I could send you a rotten body & you send me a clean paint job, build them & post them here.
  12. Hi Hans, I found the rear wheels in my parts box I think they're from a diecast. The gears for the crane are from an old pull & go toy car that I took apart. The rest is all styrene. I don't have any plans, I'm just winging it from internet photos. Thanks, Mark
  13. I just finished my Model A coupe & I had the original chassis sitting there. So I started digging & found enough parts to put this truck together. I'm building a Weaver Auto Crane for it too. This is what I've got so far.
  14. It has a scratch built chassis, chopped top & Mopar power. I can't seem to do anything other than rusty & rotten.
  15. Finished it up the other day, I'll add some pics under glass soon.
  16. Great job, I love everything about it.
  17. Thanks guys. I got some paint, interior & exhaust work finished.
  18. Thanks guys, I'm going with the Cragars. I worked on the floor today.
  19. Wow that's nice Tom! I want one but don"t have a brook on my land.
  20. Started this old Model A kit, I scratch built the frame (first for me), chopped the top & found a big mopar for it. I can't decide which wheels & tires to use. Love to hear your choices...
  21. I entered the Desert Scale Classic virtual show & was shocked to learn I too got something for my old Willys wrecker. This is the first contest I entered in about 30 years, it was fun & easy. Thanks to everyone that had something to do with this great experience.
  22. Congrats! Your Olds is the best ever built, absolutely beautiful.
