  1. Looks like that would have been one awesome/scary ride.
  2. Excellent (Pay It Forward) trade with Buffs Fan!
  3. Looks like I was wrong yet again. I was going from memory when I watched the show. Guess I am not as sharp as I used to be.
  4. It is a Roush 427, which is a small block. If I remember correctly.
  5. Very nice. First motorcycle I ever rode/crashed (same trip).
  6. The lack of chrome parts saves me a lot of time. I always remove the chrome and paint the parts as I am usually doing stock builds.
  7. Thanks for posting the complete contents of the box. Some interesting parts.
  8. Excellent trade with RT6PK!
  9. Excellent (Pay It Forward) trade with DEANO!
  10. I would not be surprised if some of these poor engineering decisions are because of some sort of government safety mandate. Some other engineer decided it would be better for everyone if there were no self-serviceable parts on your new vehicle.
  11. I wonder if that is some sort of protection for the fuel tank that was added because the rear bumper was removed.
  12. He remained somewhat calm during the whole thing. While flying through the air he remembered to take his hands off the wheel. While waiting for the remains of his car to stop skidding the visor is up and he was looking around, almost casually. Not so many years ago, coming down on top of the wall like he did could have split the car in two. They will learn from this crash and see what worked and what did not. Future cars will be built even safer.
  13. This is actually new news. What is being pointed out is Squadron is now listing them for sale again. So maybe the new kits hit the shelves sooner rather than later.
  14. I would like to own/run a hobby shop. The only way that could be remotely possible was if I owned the building it was in. You have to sell a lot of $20 kits and $2 bottles of paint to pay $3000 a month rent (plus utilities).
  15. Thanks for the info JC! You sure make it look and sound easy.

  17. In this case, it isn't the fault of USPS, it is the shipper that boxed them up. To be fair, they boxed these as they should have been boxed. They were also, more than likely, following the shipping guidelines that their company uses. Imagine receiving a fragile item that was broken because they were not packaged securely. Your argument would be, why did they ship these in such a small box with no padding. I get items shipped from Amazon that I am amazed are not broken when I receive them. Small box in a larger box with a single air bag to cushion it, everything just slides around in the box.
  18. If I remember right, he got the first Roush 427 that was produced. This is one of the few builds that I have seen on the show that I liked.
  19. I have plans to build a blacked out Ramcharger similar to yours. Nice group of models, thanks for sharing.
  20. I will be following along. This one is on my long list of models to build.
  21. I seriously looked into building a GT40 kit car some years ago. Would of cost me about $160k to do it like I wanted. Not a chance I could afford it. Not a chance I would do it unless it was exactly how I wanted it. Now, I don't think I could get in and out of one. If I remember correctly, electrical problems require a lot of test drives.
  22. Back to Hobby Lobby and Molotow Pens please.
  23. No. If they did you would have to buy them 100 at a time.
