  1. All the Co-Ops around here carry scale size farm equipment.
  2. Those wheels look like they'll be fine! Very Mustang-like.
  3. Well....at least these people are using their imaginations! Keeping the old brain churning! LoL
  4. I wasn't familiar with it, either, until I saw it on eBay.
  5. I just logged in to their forum with no problem. Didn't see any mention of the mag stopping on there, but I got the email this morning. Correction: I did just read a thread about the magazine shutting down on the SA forum.
  6. No offense meant, but I never could get into Fine Scale Modeler. I'll be getting them as a consolation to fulfill my subscription, which I had just renewed. I wonder how long they had been contemplating this move?
  7. Thanks for the suggestions. Snake, it's a Spec Cast 1957 Dodge pickup. It's painted in white, and I want to use either red, or yellow, or perhaps a blue to make it two tone, like I've seen on the Web.
  8. I'll probably grab one, anyway.
  9. Those are some wild looking 4 lug wheels. Did the 1:1 car have 4 lug wheels? I like the spoke wheels at the top of this thread. I'll be checking in on this pony car build.
  10. I have a pre-painted 1/25 scale diecast kit. I'd like to add a color to make it two-toned, like the 1:1's were painted. I don't know what type paint is on the body. It's white, and looks great. I would like to just paint over the white on the part that would be two-toned. Any ideas or suggestions?
  11. If I ship something in a bigger box, I try to pack enough soft stuff around it to keep it still. So far, I haven't heard any complaints.
  12. Yeah, I should have done that. I have so much other stuff going on, that I didn't follow through on that.
  13. You may get all kinds of suggestions on this topic. I use TESTORS clear window glue for the windows, headlights, and taillights in most of my builds. I've been using CA glue for attaching handles and mirrors and such. If at all possible, I try to drill and pin things, so they will be easier to place, and harder to knock off.
  14. I just got two kits from the same seller. He had $15.00 shipping on each listing. Both of them should fit in the same box, and be less than $30.00 for the shipping. I'll know what he paid when I get the kits. He hasn't offered a partial refund, yet.
  15. The 72 Gran Torino may be hard to find, and might not be cheap, either.
  16. I started selling last year on eBay. Shipping set at $7.00. USPS kept going up, so I raised mine, unwillingly. I think the last one I sent out was set at $10.00 shipping, and it cost me more than that to send it.
  17. Looking forward to those, especially the ElCamino.
  18. Me, neither, even though I have sent some on their way in the last few months. Building it may come later, as I have about ten on the go at the moment! LoL
  19. That's the statement I was looking for! Well said! Michelle....keep on turning out these fine projects!
  20. I have the 4 door Vette kit, but I haven't opened it. This is tempting me to rip cellophane!
  21. Very nice progress!
  22. I didn't know that Ford was coming. Nice!
  23. I like this attitude. I bought a built-up TransAm to use for parts on a T/A project I was gonna build. When I got it in, it looked so good, I just put it in the display case. The project I was gonna do is still in its box!
  24. I recently saw some Model Masters paint, in the little round bottles, priced in the $13 to $14 range on eBay.
  25. I wouldn't have argued with your price. Seems it was on the mark. I don't know what condition the parts are in with my kit. I never ripped off the plastic, like I usually do.
