  1. Thanks for the comment. That little detail is one reason it was stalled forever. Knowing I have to wet-sand and polish paint jobs, it would be impossible in this area otherwise.
  2. Much appreciated. Glad you appreciated it. Thank you. I really like your D, there was some evolution in one generation. The book I got only mentioned that in the last page. Thank you very much. No problem, I do that too! ? Link to your topic: Final Completed Models this past year 2020 Ich danke Ihnen lieber Curt Herr! Make you open a transliteration window too.
  3. Another time I used the mini clothes pin. Any of the other clamps I have would crushed the solder wire held in place.
  4. Yes, and when I saw your entries, asked why do I bother? ? It's a tough category. Thank you. Thanks! I put a bunch of work on that project that is easily overlooked. Thanks Curt! I think we all do hope to get back to "normal". Thank you!
  5. Welcome! I live about half an hour from you (at race speed).
  6. Appreciate the compliment! It really helps to look at historic vehicles, gives appreciation for today's offerings. Thank you too! Aw shucks, thanks! Thank you too! I'll get on the Cheetah sooner than later thanks to you. Thank you. Had my moments building this, amazed it came out as well. No such thing as Box Stock with a kit like this.

    My 5 for 20

Looks like the Micky Thompson got most of the attention, I see the line fittings. You lower the window on the 350Z? I like the Lamborghini, just because, would suggest fixing the mirror. ? Cool subjects all around.
  8. You should be proud of high production and quality builds! I had one of those ICM Scarab kits, sold it in Phoenix, I like what you did.
  9. When I saw your Beetle, snagged a kit. Great job on that, and of course the others.
  10. Hey Curt, I still have that R&D Unique Chaparral 2J in the box, did you get it at GSL? It looks really challenging with the white metal parts. I have two of the Mercedes C9 kits, which did you build? Saw the start of your radial bike WIP, missed seeing the whole build. Good job on all!

    My 2020

Nice variety, like your selection of colors.
  12. You are a quick learner, and builder, impressed with your production rate. I built the Grand Prix for someone a long time ago. Nice job on all!
  13. Very nice all around!
  14. The poll is missing Studebaker. Here is my last pickup, I owned the real thing for awhile. Built this before joining the forum, California Pit Stop. Built this way before joining, Up A Creek. Built this when the kit was fresh, a commission for the owner of the real truck.
  15. Another Auto Union, but a D. Nice job on that, as well as the rest of them. I haven't seen the Boxer built before, have the kit, good to know about fit problems.
  16. Came out great! I was watching your WIP, appreciate all the work you did.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Beautiful work on all. The headlights are a detail that stands out.
  18. Never would have guessed you been snoozing. Nice work, love the backdrop.
  19. Thanks! Thanks for the comment. Kind of sloppy on the Canopy Express. Thank you. I know right? That's why I can't bash a bunch out. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks! Thanks. Appreciate the vote, I kind of went overboard on that. Thank you.
  20. Love your weathering!

    My 2020

I like the second one, the Ford pickup made me look twice. All nice street rods.
