Thanks again. Yea, I kinda messed it up, and then ....

Thank you! Forget exactly what that can is, but whatever I recently picked up for recycling was it. I simply drew with a 0.3mm pencil, after doing some research on tats. I have several colors for skin, mixed, darker where there would be shadow.

This was inspired by a t-shirt, and Arizona's Stupid Driver law that is supposed to deter idiots from crossing flooded washes, by forcing them to pay for recovery costs. The roof is from my Honey, We Have A Problem diorama, the Tamiya - Isuzu Vehicross. The babe is a Preiser figure, with epoxy putty clothing, had to use a Victoria Secret catalog for reference. I vacuum-formed the sign posts and drilled lots of holes; sign is a photograph that was improved with PhotoShop and printed on thick paper (along with title plaque), reflectors are Farmers Insurance bumper stickers, attached with Grant Line bolts. First time I have used Woodland Scenics, Water Effects, which is like a thick Tacky Glue, added a little acrylic paint. Real rocks, dirt, wood and grass, epoxy putty Prickly Pear and Barrel Cactus, paper Agave Cactus, Celluclay ground. There is a Tarantula waiting for her. I cut the base in a diamond to mimic the sign from the best point-of-view. So I made two dioramas with one model. Who would rescue her?

I'm hoping to! It's a great show, you give me awards. Thanks to you, and everyone else before you. Including Russell, good friend of mine.

First picture, if you look above the word "honey", at the edge is the snake. I looked up what is the correct species, so it's well camouflaged.

Out Of Production Resin & Aftermarket Products

I have a Herb Deeks wire wheel detail set. But I really don't like the cast metal rims. I was going to use it on my California Spyder (icon picture), but used only the tires. This is one case I regretted getting something, but I wanted to support a cottage industry entrepreneur. I recently got a KA Models detail set of photo-etch with turned aluminum rims, huge improvement. -
Out Of Production Resin & Aftermarket Products

I'm still new to this forum, so am trying to catch up. I have learned to get what I like when I see it, don't even wait a day to order. Been finding out that if a website shows the kit is available, but when you order, then you find out they need to order from the maker. I'm into weird subjects, so finding whatever is even more difficult. I'm also doing well enough with work that I'm splurging to reward myself. The cost may seem ridiculous, but if you haven't done scratch-building, or tried casting, or limited mass production, marketing, getting boxes, preparing to ship, dealing with flakes, then you just don't appreciate what is available. This is something I got last century, when I looked through a flyer distributed at a model contest, and saw this baby, I didn't eat for a week. I'm really glad I did, because I never see it anywhere! Now the question is, would it be sacrilegious to put theoretical sponsorship logos on this r&d unique, Mini Exotics Chaparral 2J "Sucker Car"? -

Since I got the Model Car Garage photo-etch detail for the MINI, knowing it was intended for the Revell kit, I wanted to see who has reviewed it. Apparently not many have, most searched posts are for the original classic, not the BMW MINI. I built the Fujimi kit of the "One" version, the plain base model (obviously modified). Compared to the photos above, would say the Revell headlights are horrible! Is the Revell LHD? I noticed the Fujimi had four indents underneath the cowl for the wipers, like there is a LHD version, but I had to modify mine from RHD.

Looking for advise on sandable primer

I'm learning stuff here, so keep up repeating yourselves! As Richard said, Model Master gums up even when wet sanding, and takes forever to cure. -

Monogram/Tom Daniel Rommel's Rod

I built this several years ago. It went together good enough. One of the flag decals is printed reverse, does not match the shape of the plastic. This is one of the few models I built box stock. The one piece track/wheels drives me nuts, would kit bash a real tank or halftrack set if I ever did this again. -
Thanks, good to know regarding pictures. I'm waiting with baited breath for the Beemax kit. Spot Model says it will be a really nice kit.

Well, based on the vague topic title, was going to say that when I had MINI Coopers, I was lucky to get a year out of a set of tires. Can't imagine why. After reading above comments, I see the issue is how long without driving the heck out of them. My '69 Chevy pickup has Khumo tires that have not been produced for awhile, receipt shows installed 1998, so 19 years. When I had a '57 Chevy wagon, I had brand new Goodyear tires, and had a front blow out at speed limit on a two lane, it was scary enough to never touch that brand again. So I would say what brand, if outside the whole time, etc.
