  1. Black and red look great together
  2. I think I like it better with an open bed. Great color
  3. Splashed some pearl tangerine on this Cheyenne then assembled the bed. I'll respray the bed once the pieces have melted together.

    '49 Merc

This one has been on and off the bench for a number of years. Each time I worked on it. I had a different vision of what I wanted the outcome to be. Over the years, shes gone thru extensive body work as I cut off the roof at one point only to lay it back down with a more aerodynamic look. Also fabbed up a hood hanger that's hidden when closed. I hate body work! Mainly because I'm no good at it. When I put her back on the bench, I was determined I wanted black with a satin finish with red interior. The seats came from a die cast and the grille is from the '59 Thunderbird. The steering wheel is from the Moebius Hudson and the dash is from the '58 Impala kit. I was going for the rat sheik look. It never occurred to me to light her up until this week. No motor yet. Thanks for looking

    Ice-T reboot

I'm calling her Spice-T. This is a reboot of the Monogram Ice-T kit from the '90s. I blew her apart in an effort to do something a little different. I closed the tailgate, added a rear glass and a wood bed and eliminated the 2 large gas tanks and exhaust pipes. I swapped out the motorcycle style steering wheel and used a shifter from the boneyard. The color is pearl tangerine acrylics over a silver base. The wheels and tires were swapped out to reinforce the cartoon appearance. This time around I added possible front wheels, plug wires, fuel lines and carburetor linkage along with a couple velocity stacks. The overall height was lowered considerably. No build thread for this one. Thanks for looking.
