  1. Excellent David.
  2. I like it Johnny a lot.
  3. Nice, very nice.
  4. Sam, I just found your link to your Flicker site and a great album you have there.
  5. Excellent work Sam.
  6. Looks great. I am surprised you found one with the chrome trim ring on the wheels. I debated whether to use the Molotow on the wheel rings but have not done it yet. Thanks for sharing the photos.
  7. I could have saved your friend a bit of time.
  8. Fuchs on a VW bus, how cool.
  9. Fortunately my panel lines on the Mirage were OK.
  10. Yup, they told me every two weeks they get a new shipment at Rite Aid.
  11. Who needs a kit? Just make your own. Vacuum formed body plus Bondo! (I believe vac bodies are still available from Patto.)
  12. These are the unfinished Ford GT40s from a project I started in 2002 to show the evolution of the GT40s. I was shooting for the Toledo NNL and really pushed to get all of them done and literally burned out before they were all complete. Some of these only need detailing to be finished but I have not gotten to them yet for a number of different reasons. The unpainted white one is a 1/24 Strombecker JCar slot narrowed down the center. The green GT40 is a SMTS resin kit, the red GT40 #14 is a Fujimi, the red MKIV is a Le Mans Miniature resin, the Mirage is Mini Exotics, the red MKII roadster is a CMA resin, and the white and blue one is a Fujimi center section with Cox slot car front and rear clips grafted on.
  13. Really outstanding workmanship and detail.
  14. Amazing work. Keep it coming.
  15. Looking real good Pico, keep the photos coming please.
  16. It is a Welly but not with a plastic roof.
  17. This might be an alternate for some but it is 1/24th. I am converting it to 1964 Tour de France entry.
  18. Having the two halves already split would make it easer to make into a two seater. I will have to consider that idea, thank you.
  19. Sweet. The colors are super.
  20. Well done on all counts David.
  21. WOW! Would really like to see these completed, very creative.
  22. Italeri makes a Field Tool Shop, while 1/35 scale has some useful pieces.
  23. It is my firm belief that the Revell 1/24 slot car body "fathered" almost all resin cast 289 USRRC/FIA versions. As well they should have as the body is accurate. Revell at that time was only a few blocks away from Shelby's Princeton Ave facility, an easy walk to get measurements and photos, or better yet have Ken Miles drive one over to the plant. These photos are from the web. This one is a UMI FIA early resin.
  24. I share Ismael's thoughts for you.
  25. Outstanding X3 Dann. Especially the engine bay!
