  1. Looking really good.
  2. Looking really good. Anxious to see more.
  3. Alex, so good to have you back again. You have been an inspiration to many of us over the years. The Dino is spectacular!
  4. Tom, I bought a glue bomb Thames with the same plan to take it back to stock. I have gotten it disassembled but that is as far as I have gotten.
  5. All your builds are fabulous but this is the first Alfa Romeo 8C00 I have seen built other than my own and your is gorgeous. Mine was a Union kit and the labeling and box art are incorrect but fortunately the kit is actually the 1931 Le Mans winner. It was only recently that I learned the wheels should be painted black as you did.
  6. Beautifully done. Congratulations.
  7. Walmart has a new clear Gorilla glue which is new to me.
  8. Great idea and execution.
  9. Went by 2 Rite Aid drug stores and both had closed. Too close to Walgreens which purchased Rite Aid I am guessing.
  10. Nicely done, looks great.
  11. Pardon my ignorance but what does JL stand for?
  12. I will see if I have any more pictures but as I mentioned I no longer have the model. I foolishly sold it when I needed more space for my Le Mans models. I do have lots of photos of the real thing though. Have you checked to see if you got all the pieces? I might have some spares.
  13. Very nice build. The 63 is one of my favorites.
  14. I built Andy's kit of the standard Birdcage and did not notice it being small but then I did not get the ruler out to measure it. Unfortunately I no longer have the model in my possession.
  15. Looking really good Pico.
  16. Congratulations, it is a beautiful build.
  17. Way to go Tim. Please keep us posted on your project.
  18. This one speaks to me and I can't explain why.
  19. Great progress, please keep us posted.
  20. I agree with all the above comments. This is certainly contest worthy.
  21. Very nicely done.
  22. Looks very good. You did a nice job with the kit.
  23. I have a Welly 911S which is a type 991. Is this what you are referring to? I believe the 997 is made by Maisto.
  24. Thanks for the tip on using white paint on the headlight stems. I tried it and it is much easier than pulling out the headlamps and cutting off the stems.
