  1. Oh my! All the elements are very realistic. Excellent craftmanship.
  2. Guys, here are pictures of the 1/24 Welly Buick Riviera and Pontiac TRANs AM. Both have engines and poseable front wheels. The tape on the TA door is not standard of course :-)
  3. I really like what you have done here and look forward to seeing more soon.
  4. I remember these at the fairgrounds. Really excellent job recreating it and congratulations on the 1st place in class.
  5. I agree with the above. I tried to order one years ago from a stateside vender and he would not take my order because of the poor quality he said.
  6. Excellent build. Congratulations.
  7. Super job with the gas station forced prospective photo.
  8. Great looking set up you have created and should be very efficient too. Congratulations.
  9. I am having second thoughts, hers is a cabriolet and somehow that just doesn't seem right unless it was a spyder.
  10. Hmmm...wonder if my wife would object if I bolted flares like on her car?
  11. I don't know if this has been posted before but I as checking out Ollie's yesterday and they had stacks of the Lindberg L700 Dodge tilt cab both with and without the chrome tanker.
  12. Randy, I should have mentioned the drug store is Rite Aid and they have a standalone rack with stuffed animals on one side and 1/24 die cast cars, usually Welly, on the other. They get a new batch every two weeks. That is the good news, the bad news is Rite Aid has been bought by Walgreens and I do not know if they will continue stocking the diecasts.
  13. JC, yes both Capri and the Alfa are 1/24.
  14. I have the Welly Buick Riviera and it is very nicely done IMHO. And at $9.99 at the drug store you can't go wrong.
  15. Made my first trip to Hobby Lobby in a long time. All the shelves were stocked with the newer releases but I was kind of shocked by the current prices. I was mainly interested in picking up some paint and they had mostly Model Masters and only Tamiya spray paint was primer, the red Tamiya came from the hobby shop. I treated my self to a new cutting mat and over in the doll house section a big sheet of flooring. I also bought a Revel SnapTite kit of the 2017 Ford GT. On the way home I stopped at the Rite Aid drug store and had a pleasant surprise, a Welly Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and a 1969 Capri 1600 GT each for $9.99. It was a good day.
  16. I like it a lot Justin. Very well done.
  17. Great build Ken. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Another outstanding build. I am with you on the windshield frame, one of the biggest distractions on most of the Cobra kits, and diecasts too.
  19. Outstanding! And you chose a color other than red for a Ferrari and it looks really good.
  20. Those do look nice Randy.
  21. David, It is my understanding that the Merit/SMER are the same casting but the Heller is totally different mold and much more detailed. Gary
  22. Porsche rambles are good, please continue.
  23. The pictures are outstanding David. And the figures....very realistic. Reference Talbot Lagos, I have long planed on doing the two seat Le Mans version which means widening the Heller body. Its been several times before and I have good reference material but just need to finish other projects first. Just noticed SMER calls the F1 car a Lago Talbot and Heller labels it a Talbot Lago.
