  1. Bravo my friend. You were the inspiration to finish off my Jouef P4 which I will post soon. You have given me some good ideas for the details.
  2. Philip - did you apply the decals and paint the window frames? I am just now finishing up the same car.
  3. I built mine as a tow vehiclle.to go along with the original Sting Ray.
  4. Oh oh, temptation is on the rise.
  5. Very well done and realistic.
  6. Truly amazing models of the prototype. I had not heard of it before and had to look it up.
  7. Well you fooled me. I thought you were going to do a take off on this C&D road test.
  8. Well done indeed. Thanks for sharing your photos.
  9. I am only aware of 2 diecast Econolines. The 1/25 First Gear and the oversized Jada. Only the side doors open on the First Gear and the Jada is a terrible joke IMHO.
  10. I am almost certain that we did a comparison of the 1/24 Porsche 906 but I can not find it now but I do still have the photos. I hope this is helpful.
  11. Welcome to the forum and sharing with us your pictures of some great models. Lots of memories there.
  12. I am a real fan of these Corvettes and really appreciate you posting your photos. I too bought a 1964 glue bomb thinking I would restore it but decided to keep as is. It is a real slice of history.
  13. Well done. I always enjoy seeing the old Hellers built up and yours is really fine.
  14. OK, now that we are all envious, questions. What is the brown 2 door and is the Ferrari California a replica?
  15. Super nice build on the Porsche. Really appreciate seeing it in detail.
  16. You have no idea how close I was to including a description of newspapers. ?
  17. Yesterday on the way to the local model club meeting I stopped off at a new diecast store that was featured in the newspaper. The store has thousands of 1/64 diecast which are out of my lane but I did find one I could not resist.
  18. Trevor, your stash looks like a jewelry store, loaded with gems.
  19. I searched my files for period photos of the interior/dash of #8 and came up empty. Comparing the photos of the center dash of the #8 and the Cunningham they look pretty much alike, 4 gauges. I am going to assume you have seen the photos here: 1962 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe | Blackhawk Collection
  20. The Collier-Revs Museum was kind enough to send me photos of the interior of the Cunningham XKE. Let me know if you need some.
  21. Nice work. I am guessing the Flintstone might be a repop of the First Gear diecast.
  22. I like it.
  23. FWIW - #8 Le Mans (interior and engineering appear to be restored)
  24. I am pretty much in sync with both David and Pierre. I have an intended purpose for each model in the stash I have and a large library of books and magazines plus many thousands of digital photo files which I have collected over the years. Though I have to admit it is much easier in the digital age to find good reference material and the hard copy is not as necessary unless there is valuable text to good along with the photos.
