  1. I use to build traditional hot rods professionally, Left the industry for various reasons. I have a "9 to 5" fabricating mostly high end stainless work, as well as my own fab shop at the house. I miss it enough where Im thinking about going back on my own and building cars again under my shop name (Chabres Hot Rod and Fabrication, or CHRF) I also started a you tube channel that Covid kind of ended for a bit because when the pandemic hit both the Mrs and I ended up working like crazy due to shortages etc. If anyones interested I can post up some photos etc sometime.

  4. SAME! this is the top of my display cabinet in my office so its neck height. I have to walk by it everytime I enter or leave my office since its the front room of our house
  5. the blue one is staying as is, its one of a very small group of survivors I have, I do want to get a pair of stacks for it since the original builder had a set on it . I have another someone painted this awesome pink That Im gonna mess with eventually

  8. Joels stuff is amazing. He is my go to for motors that I cant kitbash myself. I also have both of his Mazda pick up kits and some misc stuff like the BMX bike etc
  9. Thanks Scott!!! As you can see, Its morphed into a drag car as you originally planned! Time will tell where it goes from here, but I had to put it into the mix with the rest of the Hot rods!!! I have a few more thrown in there as of today
  10. thanks Bill. Mock up is where I hash out my ideas and clear my brain. In awhile, Ill get tired of looking at these and change them up haha
  11. the best part was my little guy helping me. he would go through my tire bin and place them near the 27 body. has the bug for sure
  12. needed to relax and its been too cold to work on my Comet in my unheated shop last night, so I dug out some more stuff to mock up. Mini tubbed the Vicky, put in some blue windows and started blocking my Scott Colmer 40 coupe body as well. my goal? no idea to be honest.

  19. mine was a 79 coupe. 10 pt moly cage, full Wolfe tubular front suspension, 4 inch cowl, 5 lug svo front brakes, 5 lug 8.8., mini tubbed, real 18 inch 2000 cobra Rs it was a retired drag car that I was going to use as a fully gutted street driven drift car. I was going to put my 14 to 1 289 in it

  21. My aunt and Uncle both had Fieros after my uncle got tired of MGBs. His was a bright yellow 87 non GT, hers was a White 88 GT. Surprisingly fun little cars after he scienced out the suspension.

  23. Im not a turquoise fan, (in fact, Im not a big fan of the whole 50s Doowop type "scene" haha) but that color is awesome, I also like what youre doing with the whole build one coupe in different styles!!!
