Re-engineering Monograms Lotus Esprit...new update!
Italianhorses replied to Dann Tier's topic in WIP: Model Cars
...and now for some pictures we snapped at model assembly factory, where parts are getting ready for paint.... I wish I was this organized! Very cool workshop too. How dusty does it get when you paint inside? I still spray everything outside. -

Perhaps the angle of the picture. But the lower front should be definitely more slanted.

Brilliant work. Might be wrong, but looking at the pictures, bottom front of the rear wheel flares/arches, is not quite correct shape. Real car has them slanted going down almost at 45-50 degree angle, yours seem more square-ish.

My apologies. I honestly thought it was all called armor. Just goes to show how much I know. -

Very clean build! Love the color and the contrast of ragtop to the body paint.

Sure. I was just pointing out that right now your filler tube is not going into the tank. Also, looking at the below picture, it seems the oil tank might be actually going under the battery, which explains why the filler neck is so long and angles the way it is.- 76 replies

I wasn't talking about position of the tank. I was talking about the length, angle, and location of the fill tube. ]- 76 replies

Looks good, but the oil tank is incorrect. The filler tube should go directly into the tank, slightly at an angle, and stick out quite a bit more.- 76 replies
