  1. You did a beautiful job on this T-bird for your Wife Dave! Thanks for taking the time to restore this thread.?
  2. Hacksaws are designed to cut metal but will hack just about anything apart.? That one looks like a particularly cheap example. You could use one if that is all you had, but if you have to purchase one…I wouldn’t! These will do a far finer job and a very worthwhile investment if you plan on doing more custom modifications in the future.
  3. Wow! Very fine work on all of these! Nice to see these scratch built projects. Kudos for thinking outside the box!?
  4. Nice pair! Beautiful work on the paint!?
  5. Looks pretty good to me!? I too fairly recently got back into the hobby. I just try to improve slightly or try something new on each one.
  6. Well you certainly have a way with Bling David! This turned out beautifully!?
  7. Nice job! That color looks great on it!?
  8. Awesome! Love the wiring harness idea!?
  9. Oops, the Aurora kit the OP is referring to is 1/16th scale apparently.? Edit: An electronics supply house should have slightly heavier gauge wire also.
  10. I made this clip for holding the RV fridge door open while in storage. I lost one a couple of years ago.
  11. Maybe you need to add a welder and a tube bender to this very impressive shop of yours Bill?
  12. I’ve never been big on coloured plug wires because they more often than not seem to be out of scale (too fat). However, I recently found this .020” stuff at a local electronics supply house. I haven’t used it yet though, so no installed pic.?
  13. It’s only a roll bar, no cage…but here are the dimensions. Diameter is .017”.
  14. What are the two parts on the bottom left?
  15. I agree. That is one of the most realistic weathering jobs I’ve seen on here!?
  16. Every Sunday is cruise night in Winnipeg. There were sure a lot of neat vehicles out. Here are just a few.
  17. I don’t think bubbles are too much of a concern, especially if you are blowing it through an airbrush. The mess on the lids is my main irk. I have had some old testors paints that I couldn’t get the lids off with a pair of pliers.?
  18. This is how I did mine. Not exactly a factory stock look, but they work nice. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/132080-65-chevy-stepside/
  19. Nice build!? I used to love that show.?
  20. Very nice looking Bronco! ? I have a couple of these that I have yetto get started.
  21. Beautiful build! ? Awesome scratch building skills.
  22. That is one beautiful paint job! Very nice all round.?
  23. Very nice restoration job! Well done.?
