  1. Divide the actual 1:1 size by 24. Any soft wire will work. Solid wire is harder to form, but will hold it’s shape.
  2. Sadly we lost this guy a couple years ago. He was a rescue and the most stubborn dog we ever had, but he made us laugh. Never-ending ball of energy. We had a game where we would chase him around the house and he would run full tilt. Then we figured out that we could just stand in one spot and growl at him as he went past. He would do this even after a really long walk. When he was bored and wanted out, he would park himself in front of the TV and stare at us! Miss him!
  3. Pretty realistic looking! I have a couple that I feel like doing that to.?
  4. Thanks Guys. I will try the future trick next time, as I have some on hand.
  5. This is a nice kit! I had some trouble attaching the frame to the body. The floor pan did not want to meet up with the firewall nicely. I had to really squeeze it to get them to meet, so dry fit everything James.
  6. Nice detailing in that engine bay!?
  7. Yeah, they should have named it Pinto: Plugging In Necessary To Operate
  8. They both look good Craig, but I like the rallys better too.? Especially the ones on the rear.
  9. I get a trophy, a laughing face, a constipated face and a bewildered face as options on my i pad.
  10. Fantastic Paul! Great to see some progress on this project.? I would love to do up one of those Power Wagons. The Hemi conversion will be great.
  11. I agree! How many times do you think it’s possible to pick up a tiny part and drop it....hoping that it will land right side up....so you can pick it up again and place it where you want it .?.?.? My record is about 83 times.?
  12. I was hoping to coat the centers of these wheels with a light coat of this laquer based candy purple to get an almost anodized look, and still retain the “cast” texture. However, the paint adhered nicely in some spots and “wicked away” in others. So I’ve done three lighter coats to get an even coverage, but have lost the cast look. Anyone have any tips for paint over chrome? Is there any such thing as a clear primer?
  13. Looking good! I like that colour.

There aren’t many cars that a gold paint job looks good on, but this is definitely one of them. Well done!?
  15. Very nice! That blue paint job looks beautiful. Lots of nice detailing too.?
  16. It’s Tamiya TS-11 maroon. Really close to the color of my 1:1.
  17. My number one favourite pair of tweezers has disappeared. ?I’m hoping they will turn up somewhere, but I fear I may have elbowed them off my workbench and into my garbage can. If so, they are gone for good cause yesterday was garbage day, and I didn’t notice them missing till late in the day.?
  18. Got the first coat of paint on the Willys.
  19. I have used .030” half round and sanded it down to a half oval shape.
  20. Well done! That metallic red looks super nice.?
