  1. I have a good dentist now, but I never went to a dentist for many years because of a childhood experience. I was getting a tooth pulled. The dentist froze it, a while later he poked it a bit and asked me if I could feel it. I said mmm...a little bit. He said “you mean no!” and proceeded to extract it. I let out a painful yelp, and he then gave it another shot of freezing before continuing.?
  2. Nope! I haven’t actually done a decent cleanup on my bench to verify 100% that they’re gone...but I’m 98% sure.? Ooh, I hate it when that happens. Thankfully I am retired and don’t have to go to work anymore.?
  3. I think this is the stuff you want. I’m not sure how well it works though. I used it once on some really old decals and they were still brittle.
  4. What...she couldn’t fix it with a dab of super glue??
  5. I made these from .045” mechanics wire then painted them.
  6. Looks good. And foil does not like to stick to flat paint! I
  7. I like spiders...don’t like ants! Spiders eat all sorts of pests. I fed this guy this grasshopper I caught.
  8. Divide the actual 1:1 size by 24. Any soft wire will work. Solid wire is harder to form, but will hold it’s shape.
  9. Sadly we lost this guy a couple years ago. He was a rescue and the most stubborn dog we ever had, but he made us laugh. Never-ending ball of energy. We had a game where we would chase him around the house and he would run full tilt. Then we figured out that we could just stand in one spot and growl at him as he went past. He would do this even after a really long walk. When he was bored and wanted out, he would park himself in front of the TV and stare at us! Miss him!
  10. Pretty realistic looking! I have a couple that I feel like doing that to.?
  11. Thanks Guys. I will try the future trick next time, as I have some on hand.
  12. This is a nice kit! I had some trouble attaching the frame to the body. The floor pan did not want to meet up with the firewall nicely. I had to really squeeze it to get them to meet, so dry fit everything James.
  13. Nice detailing in that engine bay!?
  14. Yeah, they should have named it Pinto: Plugging In Necessary To Operate
  15. They both look good Craig, but I like the rallys better too.? Especially the ones on the rear.
  16. I get a trophy, a laughing face, a constipated face and a bewildered face as options on my i pad.
  17. Fantastic Paul! Great to see some progress on this project.? I would love to do up one of those Power Wagons. The Hemi conversion will be great.
  18. I agree! How many times do you think it’s possible to pick up a tiny part and drop it....hoping that it will land right side up....so you can pick it up again and place it where you want it .?.?.? My record is about 83 times.?
  19. I was hoping to coat the centers of these wheels with a light coat of this laquer based candy purple to get an almost anodized look, and still retain the “cast” texture. However, the paint adhered nicely in some spots and “wicked away” in others. So I’ve done three lighter coats to get an even coverage, but have lost the cast look. Anyone have any tips for paint over chrome? Is there any such thing as a clear primer?
  20. Looking good! I like that colour.
