  1. Winnipeg here.
  2. Nice guy you are. You sure wouldn’t get any praise from my wife though. She can’t even look at a picture of a snake in a book without freaking out! ?
  3. Does anyone make an early power wagon kit?
  4. How about “White Line Fever” ? That was a good one. I get most of my inspiration from this forum and also surfing the net. I also have about a 2 foot high stack of 4x4 magazines and some car mags that I will scour sometimes.
  5. I like the line “don’t take it if you’re allergic to it” Duh!
  6. Another one I find more funny than annoying is an info-mercial for airbrushing make-up. The kit comes with an air-brush, compressor, and various bottles of make-up (filler primer?).
  7. This seems to be mostly on the US channels. It’s like the drug companies want you to decide what drugs you should be on and then convince your doctor that you need them.
  8. Beautiful! Great work joining those two. ?!
  9. Awesome! Nice to see something really different. Great job!?
  10. Yeah, the one where the family has the “pet” Kias that go out and play.?

I really like these cars too. I have one that I haven’t built yet. Thanks for the heads up on the fit issues. Nice job.?
  12. I’m sure you’ll get her looking great Tom. Looks like a fun project, that’s what it’s all about...having fun.?
  13. Nice job on the weathered paint. ?
  14. Well done, but you forgot to smash the front bumper in like the photo.?
  15. Well done. Nice tribute to the cover car.?
  16. Very nicely done Alex. The stance is perfect and that blue is beautiful. ?
  17. She is a beauty! My favourite Mustang body style!?
  18. Congrats! That’s an average of 4.21 posts per day....where do you find the time to build models??
  19. Oops! I didn’t realize that the Tamiya kit is a YJ, which was the last of the Jeeps to use leaf springs.? So the previous answers are valid possibilities. If you do need to build new leafs for it...here is a thread on how to do that.
  20. I totally agree!
  21. The wrangler should be a coil spring setup, not leaf springs. You would need to source or make some longer springs and likely lengthen all the control arms. Check out my tjeepster build thread. I custom built a long arm coil spring setup on that one. I am not familiar with the Tamiya kit so you may get away with spacers if you only need a tiny lift? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/150899-tjeepster/page/3/
  22. Very nicely done. I agree, this is a very nice kit and fun to build.?
  23. Nice clean builds on both of those.?
