I’ve got paint on it, but I keep winding up with a bit of trash in the paint.? I swept and vacuumed the garage floor the other day so I will try another coat, then some clear.

Scenes Unlimited wheel back equivalent
NOBLNG replied to Brutalform's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I am really disappointed that Scenes Unlimited is no longer. They had some really nice wheels and tires. A wheel back like that should be fairly easy to fabricate though from sheet stock….especially if you have some large 1/2”-5/8”? punches. Depending on what wheels you have…I’m not a fan the solid wheel backs anyway. -

Action figure craze may have been started by Gumby?

Yes that is as far as I got. I think the door fits pretty good and the gap looks OK as is. There is already a lip on the top half for the door to sit against and it just needs to be extended down the latch side. The front edge might need a thin piece added inside the body for the door to be glued to. The only bad spot is the corner at the cowl which may need some backing or filler?

You’ve got nothing to lose by trying a repair. I would likely try some Tamiya thin if you can press the cut shut enough so it bonds…and let it dry very well before proceeding. Thin CA would likely work also. You will need to be extra careful when shaping it now. -

Thanks Mike!? That got me looking in the right era. It’s from the ‘31 Model A Sedan Kit. The two round pieces are the custom seat pedestals. Don’t know how they managed to get out of the box.?
