  1. Move your finished model onto the shelf and grab another box.
  2. Beautiful work!?
  3. I thought the same when I got this kit and started to glue the doors shut. The door gaps are not too bad so with a few reinforcements on the inside, they should look OK. I gave up on it because I’m not a huge fan of these trucks.
  4. You’ve got nothing to lose by trying a repair. I would likely try some Tamiya thin if you can press the cut shut enough so it bonds…and let it dry very well before proceeding. Thin CA would likely work also. You will need to be extra careful when shaping it now.
  5. Search my memory so often that I wish I could google my noodle.
  6. Thanks Mike!? That got me looking in the right era. It’s from the ‘31 Model A Sedan Kit. The two round pieces are the custom seat pedestals. Don’t know how they managed to get out of the box.?
  7. Got a package from Amazon today and it was an empty envelope.?
  8. Can anyone tell me what these might be from? Thanks, Greg
  9. I use a #220 sanding stick to do regular tires and then a stiff stainless steel brush to do the recessed area of the treads.
  10. Chainsaws are a vital piece of equipment after a hurricane.
  11. Each and every time I open a new kit and start researching the subject, the squirrels intervene and I go down a rabbit hole.
  12. Test my patience some of these model kits do.
  13. Rear glass shaved down and package shelf finished. I’ll have to remake the rear deck hinges, but I was likely going to have to do that anyway.
  14. No, when I snapped this single picture I had no idea there was anything odd about it. I am inclined to think that it was either a rust repair/modification, or just a customization. I wish I had taken a picture of the rear to see if it is a modified stock bumper or something else.?
  15. Mind your P’s and Q’s is short for pints and quarts, in other words…don’t drink too much.
  16. First ever order from Texas3d.? Beautiful looking stuff!
  17. That is really looking nice!??
  18. No point in starting another thread I think. I just want to add to this great tutorial how I went about fixing an ugly floor mat. I scraped out the interior section, leaving the border intact. Added a sliver of styrene to repair the outer edge and scraped it to shape. Then used a photo etch saw blade to scrape ridges into a piece of .015” thick styrene using a piece of metal as a guide fence. Cut it to size and glue in place with CA. Any fine tooth saw will work, but preferably one with non-directional teeth.
  19. Parsons are members of the Clergy, and we all know that’s as far as we can go on that subject.?
  20. Looking good!?
  21. Nope…I took the photo of the car myself. It is not manipulated in any way.
  22. Very NICE!??
  23. Nice clean looking little street rod.
  24. I have one of these so I’m interested to see where you go with it.?
  25. There’s a set on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185284895979
