  1. Thanks for the thread. I need to get back to my wedge build...
  2. Be advised that the front grille/bumper of the 72 kits have some variations. The grille and headlights on the Brown Heavy Chevy matches the box art. The grille and headlights are significantly different but does not match ANY 1:1 71 or 72 grille. It is closer to a Monte Carlo grille.
  3. Gorgeous wagon you have presented here. Quality craftsmanship. My parents had a few wagons over the years. Blue 64 Falcon wagon with woodgrained sides that my Mom ran into the back of with her beautiful 58 Impala. Red 63 Chevy wagon with a broken rear shock mount. Cream colored 68 or 69 Chevelle wagon that gave me exhaust fumes if I rode in the back with the rear window down.
  4. Very nice I like it. Are the tires box stock or parts box?
  5. Nice subject well done.
  6. Well done. Someday I will be brave enough to attempt one.
  7. I am in agreement. The odd subjects make them very desirable after you have already obtained all the reissued mainstream kits. I just obtained an early 70's Mercury Comet. The body detail is quite nice. I have very few Jo-Han kits but want more. One of my holy grails is the Haulin' Hearse. It was one of the last models I built before I joined the Navy.
  8. Your builds came out beautifully. Do you plan on adding any livery?
  9. Thank you for sharing.
  10. Just use some imagination like Charley did. A paint stick for a barrier, textured paint for the asphalt, a couple of scale track workers. It all depends on the space you have and how much detail you want. For photography purposes make sure you light source direction corresponds with the shadowing of whatever photographic background is used.
  11. Very nice. The use of all the teeny tiny hardware everywhere is impressive.
  12. Sweet build! My dad had a white convertible Satellite when I was a kid.
  13. Dang that is sweet! I will trade you a sealed kit of one for it. I would love to have yours in my display case. I know I could not do it any better.
  14. Congratz! My 1st grandchild was just born this morning. A beautiful little girl. Peyton Carter Newcomer 6.5lbs and 18"
  15. Well done. Nice effort.
  16. Thank you for sharing. Following.
  17. Enough of the teasing. Please share all the detail of your build unless there is a WIP thread on here somewhere.
  18. Very nice build. I need to finish up my Mustang drag racer one of these days. Been very distracted lately with my 1:1.
  19. Cool stuff, Have you run across any files of a Pro Mod blower and scoop or even a whole engine?
  20. Very nice color on that interior.
  21. Thanks guys.
  22. Very nice indeed. My cousin (may he RIP) owned a 66 El Camino with a very similar color.
  23. This is how I want mine to turn out.
  24. The ramp bed does pique my interest.
