  1. Sweet. I love all the detail.
  2. I got one of the Chrome Texaco trailers reissued in 2011. I was fortunate enough to trade the Texaco decal set for a set of Amoco decals. Back in the 90's, Amoco premium was the only premium fuel my high compression Pontiac 455 liked.
  3. Great job!
  4. Very elegant build.
  5. Way cool concept car I have never seen. I would lose the wire wheels though.
  6. I use plain white vinegar as a low cost setting solution. Very water soluble and non staining. Then again I have yet to switch to acrylic paints.
  7. Very nice detail work.
  8. Admirably done!
  9. Very nice! How does it compare to the Revell Streetburner '66 reissued in 2010?
  10. Keep up the good work. Following.
  11. Bent and straightened. One of the reasons I chose it was for the reflectivity of the metal through the the transparent decals.
  12. David, I too noticed the pieces are so light weight they are unstable. I hid a piece of sheet metal under the floor and attached mini magnets to a number of items. I wish I would have thought of it before I painted them.
  13. Great job on a not often seen subject.
  14. Very nice and rare score there. My Dad has a 66 Satellite convertible when I was a kid. White car, white top, red interior. I think it had a 383 in it. He bought it because it had a trailer hitch already on it to pull his new boat. I don't suspect yours will see any towing duties.
  15. You have come to the right place. There is a lot of talent showcased here.
  16. Very creative on all of them. Well done.
  17. Sweet rig. Great job with all the mods.
  18. I never knew the headlights were too high. I just wanted them to be rectangular.
  19. Paint is fickle. Besides vinyl tops are nice color contrasting feature.
  20. Here's the trailer I built in a simpler version. I do not remember how I came to possess it but I wouldn't mind building another.
  21. I vote for Vinyl top on the Olds.
  22. I cannot speak to the club aspect of your post but no airplanes on this bench. I have more than enough cars to build than I have time.
  23. Steve's results speak for themselves time and time again.
  24. I apparently have to get to mock up stage to determine if hood mods are required. I am curious as to why you put the Monogram 70 front clip on the Revell Boss 302. Is it more accurate or was there some other reason?
  25. Thanks for the pics. I have decided to go single 4bbl on the BOSS 429. The Revell 70 Boss 429 has 2 hoods but using one on the 69 would require a lot of trimming. So I am debating doing that. I do not yet have a Boss 429 scoop but I could probably fab one. Could you be so kind as to show me the underside of the blue one's hood so I can see what size hole it took to fit?
