  1. Thanks Tom, I am pretty excited how it has been going so far. (Except for my kitty trashing my welding helmet)
  2. Thank your for the rear pic. I love the tail panel on the '70. (but the grille on the '68)
  3. Do tou have a pic of the rear tail panel? Nice build.
  4. Quite a bit of customizing there. I would go with thin chrome rods but only if the follow the body line. If the engine is in the way I would leave them off rather than relocate them.
  5. Nice color combo and detailing. First time I have seen white suzie coils.
  6. I really like the changes you made. Jacked up on Cragars ?
  7. SWEET!!!!!!
  8. Excellent build in progress. Following.
  9. Keith, Thank you so much for the generous offer. I just accepted an offer for a Mustang hood with a factory 351/428CJ hood scoop like 5 minutes ago. Again thanks for offering to help.
  10. Beautiful craftsmanship Steve.
  11. Very nice Charger Nice interior detailing.
  12. Does anyone know of any Mustang kits that come with an extra hood?
  13. The windows are a 3D printed items I got on ebay. The listing showed 4 but the seller sent me 8. They do not come with "glass" so you are on your own for that. They are much more robust than ones you could make from styrene. Overall I am pleased with them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/303474016777
  14. Thanks Russ. I have been just making it up as I go along.
  15. Very nice so far. The one time I tinted windows (Blue) I mixed Future with food coloring. I had to get it pretty dark in the Dixie cup to get actual tint to the windows. The nice thing about future is you can brush it on and it will lay down smooth on its own. And if you don't like it, it comes right back off with ammonia solution, Not sure how you would do grey though.
  16. I believe I have that kit. Now can I bring myself to unseal it to swipe the hood...
  17. I have been working on decorating the back wall. I keep coming up with more and more ideas to fill up the space. The pic is a quicky mock up of the layout planned.
  18. Thanks Brian. That is one kit I have not acquired yet.
  19. That would fit the bill. Which year Olds, which kit?
  20. Keith, I am leaning toward hoods with some type of ornamentation/hoodscoop on it. Factory most likely or maybe racing.
  21. Guido, Thanks for the info. I have the Streetburner version released in 2006. That can be an option though I would likely build the kit WITH the teardrop hood.
  22. I am working diligently on my diorama and have decided to hang (4) 1/25th scale hoods on the walls. I have 3 spares designated. 68-69 Camaro SS hood, 70 Challenger R/T hood and 69 Chevelle double hump hood. I need a 4th different one. I have decent stash of Muscle car kits but I am not knowledgeable as to which ones have spare hoods in them. I am kind of hoping for a Ford one to balance out my GM and Mopar selections. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
  23. That is very very nice.
  24. I built this last year.
