Well gents. This one got done along with her Big Girl sisters. I present to you JADE. She is painted in Testors Chezoom Teal Pearl metallic with a well detailed turquoise interior. Lots of skill expanding detail has been put into her including scratch built console with REAL wood inlays and my 1st successful interior flocking.

I love what you are doing. I would love to have a kit of a 69 Beaumont.

I like the slotted mags and dual in line 4BBL version. Though I do like the later more subdued hood scoop of the later one.

Very impressive bunch.

Quite a great group. I could use the help of some minions too. Working for a living takes up so much of my time.

That is pretty awesome!

I use Testors Brush cleaner too. I have had the same bottle for years. As it reduces level, I add leftover lacquer thinner or acetone from cleaning my air brush parts.

I am NOT the official decider. However, I would lean towards visually stock on the chassis but a fuel cell in the trunk is fair game and probably expected for increased range.

I am happy to help. I wanted to add 9" slicks to my 67 Mustang GT but still use the factory leaf springs and shocks. I was also trying to minimize the intrusion into the interior. Strategic strip removal accomplish my goals. The challenging part was the 427 SOHC motor in the dinky engine bay. Here is a link to the build.

Sanded tread, yellow shocks, chrome rear diff cover... a man after my own heart.

Looking for ideas on how to widen rubber tires
Bills72sj replied to midlineqb's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have done this a number of times. Solid vinyl tires. Sharp #11 blade. Slice 4 tires offset to make two tires. Cut in the groove of the tread not the face. Glue the larger halves together with black automotive RTV. -
All of the above. Your paint finishes are impressive.

Lighting the dash! I need to try that!
