  1. Way cool build. I love red Challengers.
  2. That looks FANTASTIC! Well done.
  3. I rarely have a problem with inspiration. I have so many builds in my head that is is difficult to prioritize. I do, do some research to learn things like detail colors and finishes. Sometimes that leads me in a course correction. I have quite a number of paints so I can do test shots on spoons and select the shade of color that will go on a build. My favorites are Day 2 muscle cars and Semi trucks that can haul Day 2 muscle cars. Both subjects give me a lot of creative freedom.
  4. I built one in the 70's as a kit. Too many parts. did not turn out well. I have a '97 reissue of the Revellgram kit. still have not gotten to it. I would like to take another crack at the vintage Revell kit when it comes out.
  5. That rear shot of the 32...WOW! I love the engine in the T'bird too.
  6. Great group! Where did you get the wheels for the '55, the '67 Chevelle and the GTO?
  7. Nice builds. One and all.
  8. Are you creating all these custom bodies from scratch or are they 3D printed?
  9. Thank you Lee. I wanted an updated look. Thank you Lucas. 🙂
  10. Very nice build. I almost started mine last year. I even bought a Gen III Hemi for it. But alas, the squirrels distracted me elsewhere.
  11. 100% acetone is great for removing dried paint from your airbrush or other metallic objects. I would be fearful to get it on any styrene surface.
  12. I'm with Steve, I got the bulk of my stash from 2001 to 2005 when ebay (and shipping) were reasonable. Model shows are the best for running across what you may be looking for but then you are in a room full of people looking for the same thing and knowing what they are worth. The needle in a hay stack is finding a garage sale of a deceased model collector being run by one of their children looking for fast cash.
  13. I bought them from Auslowe. They appear to be hair or fiber from a soft brush. When I painted them white, the paint beaded up evenly by accident. It was as though there was oil in the strand. Anyway, it makes for an accidental simulation of wire wrapped fiber glass rod. The tip is simply a dip in Testors red enamel.
  14. Thank you Rooster. Black and gold are a good look together.
  15. Great job on the mods you are doing. I built two of these a few years ago. The extra frames make for some easy mods. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/151693-brbo-2020-triple-drive-white-freightliner-done/#comment-2231905 https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/150940-white-freightliner-coe-day-cab-dual-drive/
  16. Nice models. You got 4 more done than I did.
  17. Wow! I like the lighting. I would love to have a GT/CS.
  18. I'm liking the Zombie Beetle. I would not mess with THAT girl though...
  19. Very nice Bees indeed.
  20. I used Testors bottle enamel thinned 50/50 with hardware store lacquer thinner. I love the results.
  21. That turned out very nice. You just need to add some animal "pellets" to the bed. Unless, of course, your critters are housebroken.
  22. My Dad had a 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. Before I was born in in 1961. He told me about that mini bar set up. He shared that owning that car was such a divorcee magnet. You know... the women that marry for love, get divorced, then work on marrying for money.
  23. I like your style.
  24. Way Cool! I love your variety. My favorite is the diorama.
