  1. Question, were the all one piece chrome RS grille/headlights kits from MPC? I have built these 3 years ago and cannot remember.
  2. I spy a lot of gems in your display cabinet. Any links to pics of those treasures?
  3. I usually like to do batch builds. I started with Challengers in red, yellow, orange and blue. I did two Freightliner COEs. One was red and white, the other was black and gold. The next batch was 70-72 Chevelles in red, black blue and brown. Not to long ago I finished some 67-69 Mustangs in silver, orange and gold. The blue 67 Shelby has stalled due to two paint job failures. Right now I am making slow progress on some other stalled projects. A red, white and blue Kenworth Canepa, a 1974 (yes 74) Hurst/Olds and a 1970 El Camino Pro Street.
  4. My mom remarried an officer in the US Air Force. He was driving a 72 Riv in metallic maroon at the time. I have always like this body style. BTW are you looking for the stock chrome driver's side mirror or the dual body colored sport mirrors on many GM cars of the era like my Grand Prix?
  5. I have one of these in the stash. Good to hear they go together easily. Following.
  6. Gorgeous truck, I like all the different colors.

  12. That turned out very well. My parents had a metallic light blue one when I was a kid.
  13. I actually have an unbuilt of this kit. I have a couple of unfinished 72's as well.
  14. I work in the HVAC refrigeration industry. The copper lines we use come in hard and soft. To soften or anneal the hard copper to bend it, we run our oxy-acetylene rich to coat the copper in soot. You then heat it until the soot is gone. It is then air cooled.
  15. Very nice tri-tone interior and all that foil trim. My my.
  16. Very cool, what kit did you start with?
  17. I actually saw a white 1:1 on Friday near my neighborhood. Following this build.
  18. Very nice result of a rarely seen subject.
  19. Nice modification work. I am working on a project converting a 75 Olds promo into a 74 Hurst/Olds. It has been fun and challenging.
  20. Very nicely done.
  21. Very nice SD. I built 2 not too long ago. They seem o be pretty popular around here.
  22. Ditto, though the patrons probably don't like you parking on the sidewalk.
  23. Wow! Very impressive all around.
  24. Wow! The gloss on the maroon/gold makes it look like candy. How about this tail light set up...
