  1. I really like what you have done with this one.
  2. Nice build. Thank you for sharing. I have one of those MPC Charger 500's to build some day. It is my understanding it is one for the few kits where the recesses in the hood are in the correct place.
  3. This is so gorgeous! I can only dream of being as proficient a builder as you. You are my inspiration.
  4. I love them all! The only one I have obtained so far is the 71.

  6. Nice Nova and nice diorama. Do you have a link to the dio WIP?
  7. Excellent work on the whole interior. I especially like the amps you fabricated. I have a killer stereo in my 1:1 so I can relate. Below is a block diagram of the revised install I did this Summer.
  8. Andy, Yes, effectively there are two forward DD axles. The lowboy wheels are from an AMT Doubles trailer kit. The tires came in the lowboy kit.
  9. That is a nice yellow Sam. Keep up the good work. ?
  10. Way cool ride! You have great talent and artistic skill.
  11. Kewl project.
  12. Very nice builds. I would not mind having either one of them in my display cabinet.
  13. Your talent for weathering and composition is very impressive. It will be interesting to see future progress on what additional items you will add over time to bring the level of typical clutter to match the advanced age of a shop of this vintage. The paper stacks are a brilliant indication of this.
  14. Andy, Thanks! Regarding the front axle. My cat ran off and lost my front axle during the build. I used the axle from a parted out Ford LN800 Coke truck as a substitute. The width correction we will call a happy accident. The triple drive was accomplished from building two complete Freightliners at the same time. The 75th Anniversary kit(s) have a number of extra parts which helped a lot. In addition, I just happened to have one lonely parts box axle. I utilized BOTH the SD and DD the rear spring sets from the kit. I added to the frame rails in the middle to push the tandem axles rearward while still maintaining the fender mounts. It required patience and multiple mock ups to build certain sub-assembles out of order to get the length just right. I measured carefully in order to be able to use the drive shafts at stock length. The extra matching rear wheels and tires came from the 2nd 75th anniversary kit which left IT short a set. This would be fine If you build the 2nd kit as an SD. Yes that is the AMT Lowboy. It too was modified for length. You are correct, the tires in my old lowboy kit ARE smaller than the newer Freightliner's tires. The rims have also been swapped out with my doubles trailer. Here is a link to that build: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/147188-modified-for-length-amt-lowboy-trailer/?tab=comments#comment-2161677
  15. Lucas, Thank you. If I remember correctly the sad, solid kit stacks were actually taller. The paint scheme was inspired by this truck I just swapped the bottom colors.
  16. Lucas, This one is finished here is the link.
  17. Very nicely done! ?
