  1. Welcome on board Walt! I'm also a big Mopar drag cars lover (and builder) but you will find superb subjects no matter the car maker brands everywhere on this site! Happy retirement by the way!
  2. Welcome on board Michael! You're at the right place to make friends and get inspiration from the great builds done and in progress everywhere on this site!
  3. Welcome on board Gary and I hope you will find some positive vibes in this wonderful hobby to keep you busy and active. Too cool seeing that this hobby still be attractive for «experienced people» I would say!!!
  4. Welcome on board Bob and I hope you'll find plenty of inspiration from the great work done everywhere on this forum!
  5. Simply FANTASTIC Charles! Welcome on board, I'm already a fan of your work sir!!!
  6. Very beautiful Belair Jim, the stance is absolutely perfect and remind me another great song from the band War: Low Rider. Well done sir!!!
  7. You did a great job on the body Ray, it's unique and you won't see a lot of this concept car at the next model car contest. Well done sir!
  8. Nice project Scott, it remind me an old yard truck that was used in the late '70 to move the trailers in the yard of a company close to my home. I recall myself climbing the side step to look inside the cab... great memories! Good salvage sir, will be an interesting subject, I do love these old truck!
  9. Very beautiful pickup sir! Clean and flawless build. What did you used to detail the Chevrolet letters in the tailgate, Molotow pencil or Bare Metal?
  10. Gorgeous paint job Jeff! The colors you have chosen are perfect for this Edsel body. The Bare Metal is very well done too and just add to the beauty of this already superb work!
  11. Fantastic job Charles! Speaking of glass I make mines with Evergreen clear styrene on all my models. It's more in scale than the original kit glass and you can embedded it in the window frame by making a groove from inside the body shell.
  12. Thanks Charles! Unfortunately I can't make closer pics because the optical of my Nikon would hit the model... lol. Farce aside, I would be very happy to show it to you in person if I didn't live so far from you! Take care, Francis
  13. I did used soft aluminum craft wire. It's not as flexible as electrical solder wire but the gauge of 0.080" is perfect for 1/25 big block engine (2.00" in real life). Thanks for your sentiments about my build Charles but you have nothing to be embarrassed based on what I saw from your current project! Take care, Francis
  14. Masterful build Juergen! I'm not a big truck builder but I don't think we must be one to appreciate all the amazing work invested in this project! I raise my hat to you sir!!!
  15. Very beautiful little pickup truck Stuart! It is certainly more enjoyable for it's driving feeling than its hauling capabilities but it's short box is way too cool anyway... well done sir!!!
  16. Superb Ford Galaxie Curtis! Very beautiful and clean build!
  17. Very beautiful and well built Fairlane Bob! You do have obvious skills and good attention to the details and it pays-off at the end. Superb car that you can be proud of sir!!!
  18. Very beautiful «concept car» Kurt! We don't see a lot of these Celica around and your body modifications are very well made (well detailled WIP thread by the way). Superb and unique build that you can be proud of, well done sir!!!
  19. We can say that 7 years is a long period of time and many builders might have given up by hitting «the wall» during a long build like this but some special project need time to be completed. This car is a good example of perseverance and dedication and the final product is simply fantastic! A reference for any custom builders! I take my hat off to you sir!!!
  20. Another very interresting project in the making Charles! Based on quality of your other builds we can easily say that a lot of us will follow this one too! Thanks for sharing sir!
  21. Very nice hauler truck Jack! Beautiful Dyno Don Maverick on the platform too... would be great to see in detail all those great drag racing cars! Welcome on board sir!!!
  22. Superb paint and decal job Jason! This is a very significative car and one of the most recognizable NASCAR with this big Tide logo on the hood. Well done sir!!!
  23. Very nice job on this big Chevy Mark. You have really well captured all the details of the original 1:1 car. It's funny to see the crew at the time refueling the car and changing the tires... another world!
  24. Not an easy job to do to chop a top like this but you nailed it Glen! Your sedan delivery looks great sir!
  25. Superb job on the tracks James! Very rare subject so I'll be back to see your progress on this dozer. By the way you also have some great skills for photography! Welcome on board sir!
