  1. Life has taught me to avoid criticizing anyone as much as possible, you know so little about your fellow human beings. I left judging others on my desk in my professional life when I left. Model Car Muse every second saturday is a highlight, I like the positive attitude.
  2. Very nicely built, I have followed your build thread and the interior was as I remember it from childhood, incredibly plenty of space if with the K70 has neither cardan tunnel or center console. Do you feel ready for any of the others in the serie from Heller now, Leyland Princess? The cars that Heller made in 1/43 are really so iconic that they are worthy of a larger scale.
  3. You have done a fantastic job getting the windshield on this car, that is an achievement in itself. Sometimes white lines on clear parts can be less visible if you paint the edge black or silver but that said sometimes.
  4. A good lunch became even better, I realized that I need to build Tamiya's CV2.
  5. Beautiful slick, a curious question, what glue do you use and do you glue the entire surface or only the edges or in the middle first and when the vapors are out (glue dried) then the edges?

    Meyers Manx

Very nice build, not an easy kit either for that matter. You have really captured the feel of the early buggies. Fifteen years ago I was asked if I might be interested in a genuine Meyers body but at the time there was no room or funds.
  7. Yes, this one. Ten years ago I was given a couple of kits by a very meticulous builder, tires and rims were missing in both kits and in the remaining ten in his studio. He is focused on Swedish street cars, street machines late 70's-early 80's and to these builds goes his ate. I'm pretty sure he evaluated all possibilities before buying a twelve pack.
  8. This one might just be confusing but I hope it inspires somebody at MCF. The text in the magazine is pretty bland but it is a mix with Chrysler 1960. One of four 1960 DeSoto convertibles, all built outside the factory. It’s a nice car.
  9. Very nice detailing, fun to see more builds with this engine.
  10. Incredibly nice build, mc kits are not easy to build, you have succeeded very well. Nice to see your Shovelhead, I had a 73 a few years later than you, today I have a soft spot for the style of your bike but I only a Harley parked in the garage of dreams.
  11. Gorgeous, I love the finish, what have you paint with ? It looks really real, like the Jag that is parked in my dream garage..

    '57 Ford Fairlane

Great build with a classic kit, model building at its best.
  13. The shock absorbers are now in place. I filed down the brackets a little. When my wife was away to the gym, I took the opportunity to remove the crossbar as well.
  14. Thank you Yes, having fun is the first priority for me. Thank you Yes, having fun is the first priority for me. I really appreciate and am fascinated by the super builders, but I am keen to prioritize my own modest joy.
  15. Finally, a small contribution, a small update. I have been reluctant to make these shock absorber mounts but now they are in place and the glue will set for a few days. Lessons learned so far, kitbash saves time and keeps the whitecoats at bay, just digging in the junk drawer has been beyond my ability. The motto life is too short to build bad kits runs through my head sometimes.

    79 Nova

Nice build, yes I recognize much of what you have done. I have a sleeping project in the summer cottage that will start over with a new kit in the future (I like my concept). I took the headlights from AMT's 64 Mustang, I had it very spartan when I built the summer 2023. I will follow your build.
  17. For me more like concept than specific cars, less chrome, more doors, smaller hubcaps, fewer cylinders, longer roofs or flat beads, bench seats and three on the tree. Cars that fade with time. Moebius och Round2 are moving in this direction.
  18. It warms my plumber's heart, nice.
  19. Interesting concept, almost a bit of art. There are several Monogram kits that fit this concept. The fact that you polish the plastic gives the workheight.
  20. Most of it is written already, I do as 64SS350 but if it is an old kit (Scalemates gives answers about when the kit came out) it might be worth a few minutes to look and measure the left and right side of the body and make sure they are equal.
  21. Well done Round2 ! Curbside or not, I will build both the Barracuda and the Nomad.
  22. Nice build, I really like the colors.
  23. Took a deep breath and traveled to the summer cottage and picked up the model car projects, the dirty laundry is always voluminously larger than the clean one on the trip there so they have been left behind but tonight I at least pack some into the shelf at home to work on during the winter. The real fault is the usual one, I lack sufficient discipline to be able to focus on one project at a time. The goal is to finish what has been started and then just focus on one and if necessary take it with me.
  24. This is by far the best Harley Davidson Chopper kit of all categories in terms of style, design and correct parts. I and many with me would love to see a 1/8, 1/12 in the same style, original frame with cast parts, generator block, springer or telescopic fork, star hub, Andersen pegs, Bates saddle, dog bone risers, Bates lamp etc. Given how popular these Panheads are today, they should be able to sell provided they are buildable and stable which they should be able to be with today's technology. Small variations could produce several different kits. In short, Revell, see the facts in the link below. https://auctionet.com/sv/2171603-harley-davidson-knucklehead-chopper-unik/images
