Airbrush Vallejo Air and brush paint over the lights ? I think that with clear coat over it is not possible to see a difference provided that you put enough paint on the body so that the color becomes solid. Vallejo Air is good to brush paint which I have not succeeded with, for example, Tamiya.

It is difficult with these 32s, they have been rebuilt and unimaginable many new ones have been built with fiber glass and newly made sheet metal bodies. What did they really look like from the beginning? I photographed a hiboy with original sheet metal body in the 90s, the owner had been very careful not to transform the body and the backrest was not against the body for example.

I find the spare tire tub very interesting, early editions of AMT's 32 roadster have 5 or 6 wheel fenders. It’s a four cylinder car.

I have saved some pictures of the underside of an original car from the web but I am a little hesitant to post these, English is not my mother tongue so trying to read what applies is no idea.

Exciting, all the world's modelers deserve an easy-to-build state of the art stock 32 Ford ? I made a quick sketch of the tool that I told you about in previous posts. The white rectangle is the frame rail in profile and the tool is the steel gray. The frame that I was shown was certainly not milled out but the small edge really gave effect, an illusion of an open C profile.

Very interesting, good pictures. A gentleman in the same town as me backdated a Revell frame 25 years ago with parts from AMT's Victoria chassis, it became very weak so he glued the body floor into the frame a bit against his original idea. He shaped the side of a hobby knife blade and managed to drag it along the inside of the frame rails to give the illusion that the frame was not boxed. A very nice build in the end which unfortunately has only been shown at a vintage car club. I tried to buy one of the front axles that he cast in silver but unfortunately I did not get it.

The 5 lug rims and tires look look good, a bit too good for a trailer(read kitbash).

I'm so glad you asked, it warms my heart. The situation is that many things that have stood in the way of model building, are almost over in the days including that our beloved cat had her last teeth removed and is doing well again. An RPB Piraya fiberglass body made in Burträsk in Sweden on a VW base plate is my suggestion. Burträsk is far up in Sweden three to four hours from the Finnish border.

My answer is partly a combination of points 3 and 4 It's a nostalgia trip back to a more innocent time and the less complex world, yes. The second part is partly like point 4, I get to express my ideas but I don't have to own and with that take responsibility.

I am looking for a picture. Sometime in the early 90's, a reader sent in a picture to American Rodder Magazine (I'm pretty sure) of their 32 roadster with home built fiberglass body that they built from the dimensions of the AMT 32 roadster. It would be fun to see that picture again in short.

The joy of building comes high for me, if it is not fun, nothing gets done. To ever build an AMT 32 from its limitations is like a subculture in the model building world, I failed 25 years ago but now I am reloading(collecting parts) that to build a few parts count soft details not correct roadster.

Yes yes yes, because I know that cars and motorcycles that have been in movies sell more historically. Tasteful Iron Sportsters has been seen in many movies, in the Johnny Depp movie Cry Baby there are two Sportsters, a model K(flathead) in most scenes while in the driving scenes it is just an iron Sportster. Personally, I think that a prerequisite for getting decent numbers is that a kit contains all original parts, ie the original parts of the 1:1.

Really, a nice local deviation ? Armour has driven the development of colors etc and attracted many younger people world wide who missed the plastic model boom of the 1970s. Interesting 2, glue 1,8% = the kits are being built. It's probably hard to get around that building is the foundation of the whole hobby.
