  1. Impressive work all around and that AMT '83? Camaro is a rare sight. Did you use quartersawn oak for the diorama structure?
  2. Looks great in yellow with the red lines.
  3. The paint on that VW is superb. Neat video.
  4. Shelby Cobra turned out beautiful. I really like that Vette in that awesome shade of green off to the side. Given that it's a '74 it would seem to have been a pretty rare find.
  5. Stunning builds and photography.

    12 for 21

All beautiful builds. The '69 Chevelle is my favorite.
  7. Gee Claude those are works of art. That silver Charger? with the operable doors, hood and trunk lid had to take a considerable amount of planning and time. They're such one of a kind and very creative builds.
  8. Thanks Sreve and I will say that Revell created an excellent starting point. Thanks Mario, and the trim was a bit of a challenge but glad I stuck with it. Thank you Jim. Color is pretty close to the factory code for that year.
  9. They all look great and I remember that Chevelle when it was originally posted.
  10. That looks superb and great work getting the 4 door roof line to look just like the 1:1.
  11. Looks great and I actually like that roof line somewhat better than the '66.
  12. Thankks Anton, Anders and Larry.
  13. That is a spectacular build. Exceptional attention to detail on this one.
  14. Very clean builds.
  15. Beautiful builds and I love the backgrounds.
  16. Thanks Lee. Fortunately I purchased my kits a couple years ago when they were somewhat more common and much lower priced. I personally wouldn't pay the prices they're going for now. Thanks Bob. Did what I could to keep it factory looking. Thanks for the link Monty. The turbine wheels available look great but I don't have an airbrush to apply molotow or Alclad.
  17. Very nice John and.....you've given me a good idea with respect using this color on a body.
  18. Very nice build. That Firebird looks sharp in that color combination. Nice underhood detailing.
  19. Sounds like your dad had quite a sharp car and I'm aware of the poor gas mileage. I owned a '74 Malibu Classic coupe which had very luxurious interior for a mid size and the gas mileage was definitely a downfall with that car. Interesting information about the resin caster. In the event Revell reissued this kit it would be great if they included the Turbine wheels that are shown in the picture.
  20. Excellent work on all of them and I particularly like the '66 Cadillac.
  21. Very neat looking build Ray. I've never seen one done in that style before.
  22. Extremely clean build Eric. There's a lot of foil on that one and it looks perfect.
  23. Thank you Bill and Revell might do well if they issued a Cutlass and Grand Prix in 1/25 scale. Interesting info about the 3D Cutlass. And that picture of the red and white Cutlass is the reason for my intense interest in these cars and they definitely were more desirable than the g-bodies which I would still take versus the styling of most of what's on the road today.
  24. Thanks Patrick and yes that image provided inspiration as did this one.....
  25. Thank you Eric, Philippe, Chris, Oliver and Tom. Thanks Nigel. It tested my patience at times but glad I stuck with it. Thanks Robert and yeah it's fortunate at least the Rally wheels from the Chevelle (and Nova) kits are available I'd be happy if they would reissue it even though I have a few more of these kits in my stash. From looking at my old brochures it appears only the full vinyl topped Monte Carlos from this era had brightwork around the rear windows. Thanks Gareth. I liked Metallic Orange especially since it wasn't available each and every year on these cars. Thanks Peter and I agree with improving the headlight posts which is something I may attempt on my next build. The other issue I noticed with the headlights is that the lenses are flush and not recessed into the chrome bezels. That would require figuring out a way to scratch build the lenses which would create a more accurate looking front end. Thanks Eric and the two cars I remember seeing the most in the late '70's were these Monte Carlos and '76-'77 Cutllass Supremes. Thank you Terry. Thank you Dan.
