Nice looking Olds. All the detail work looks great. Was that paint the Tamiya in the spay can? Fantastic, I've used Tamiya rattle cans and can't come close to a paint job like that. What's the secret man?
Good looking VW bus. Great color. I have a question....what is it doing parked at the back of a warehouse and nobodies inside the bus? Something g looks a little fishy.
WOWSER......what a looker. This is super nice and just a fantastic example of a quality built model. This is something I will never achieve so its some nice eye candy. Beautiful model. Well done.
The body has been stripped. I got the engine glued in and unfortunately I had to cut a hole in the hood. Wasn't wanting to do that but it is what it is.
Thank's Jeff. If this doesn't work, for the money I'm spending it would be cheaper for me to pick up another kit at HL for $14.95 when they have their 40% off.
Thank's for the reply Luke. I did have the parts in a big zip lock bag to start off with. After a couple days I took the parts out of the bag where I could scrub them with a brush.
Well.....I had the body parts in the Purple Pond for a few days and that wasn't working. I switched to Easy-Off and that worked a little better but only took a little more off. I've been scrubbing the parts with various brushed and I'm not having much luck. I was scrubbing the parts with the brushes every day then switched to a few times a day. Not sure what it's going to take to get all the paint off. Guess I'll put the parts back into the Purple Pond til after the holidays and hope that works.
