Helpful Camera Tips:
Mount the camera on a tripod, place it on a solid surface or even a bag of rice.
If you want to eliminate all camera shake (and get a little fancy) you could use the Self Timer function. After pressing the shutter button, the countdown timer will allow vibrations to settle down before the exposure is taken resulting in sharper photos.
Set the camera to Manual mode and play around with Shutter Speed and Aperture. Use the LCD screen to determine the best exposure. In certain situations, the camera’s light meter can be fooled when set to Automatic or Program modes resulting in over or under exposed photos.
