  1. Great build for a multi spare parts project. When I look at it it make me think of a kit car. I like the color, gives it a British accent somehow.
  2. To me , the 66 impala is the best looking Chevy of the 60's. I built it as a daily driver with just enough neglect. Minor weathering on the bumpers and tires and a not too shiny paint. Other than that, straight out of the box. An excellent kit from Revell. Not fit issues and a lot of details. Can't say about accuracy since I am no expert, but it looks pretty good to me. As always, thanks for looking and commenting.
  3. Maybe old school but it's a beauty whit a nice black finish. I just love those fat fenders. I have the same kit, I went the yellow /black coca cola route. I will post it eventually. I am currently working on a new background. A really nice job on an old kit . I really like what you did with it.
  4. That's a great build Anton, this is truly a labor of love. Both model are perfect. Nice background too
  5. Great save. This was a special car back then. The color fits it perfectly. I like the black hood.
  6. Thank you all for your comments. A lot of my inspiration comes from you guys. I spend a lot of time looking in this forum before I joined. I learned a lot from all of you thanks again for taking the time to look and comment.
  7. Issues notwithstanding, it looks darn good from here. This truck looks pretty intimidating. You did a great job.
  8. Wow, this thing looks so real thanks to your excellent photography and building skills. I really miss these Jo-Han kits. They had a great selection of models. It's really sad that the molds did not survived.
  9. Really beautiful. Too bad kit manufacturers did not make many of these 80's land yachts. Great work.
  10. Built a few years ago, I was experimenting with color mixing. Turned out ok. In my opinion, this is beautifully designed car for the era. Styling was everything back then. Form over function I guess.
  11. A fun kit to build, Instead of a traditional green I went for the same color one of my friends had way back when I was in my twenties. We had loads of fun with this jeep. I did not do anything special to it, just build box stock.
  12. Really nice looking Chevy. Good photography too.
  13. Beautiful work on the decals on an already striking model.
  14. Excellent job Jim, lots of details. Dang, I really need to build one of these.
  15. Welcome to our playground Michael.
  16. Very well done. I has a nice color too. I bet a lot of cops would like to drive this.
  17. The lines blend perfectly together. The modern paint scheme makes it really stand out. Well done sir. Love the background.
  18. Quick build from a few years back. This is the Revell 65 step side. I took the step side bed for the 57 Chevy cameo. The box is scale fx resin. It was too large so I had to cut almost 1/8 th to make it fit. The paint is Tamiya acrylic with Ts 13 clear. thanks for looking
  19. Not a perfect replica, more like a clone. I did not like the kit skinny tires so I installed beefier ones from the part box. Not sure about the color though. Having seen the original on the internet when it was sold. The faded highland green does not look what you see in the movie especially on blu ray . So I went to a metallic green darken with metallic black. I Always liked the 67-68 mustangs. Anyway, here it is with a few pictures alongside the charger.
  20. You're off to a good start Bob, Those biggies already look great. Good way to use extra parts. Looking forward to see the results.
  21. Nice take on the Enzo. The metallic green really pops .
  22. Now that would be the perfect villain car in a Bullitt remake. I always liked the 300. This one just look great.
  23. Well, after all these builds it turned out pretty good.Sometimes some kits will fight us . You did a great job. I like the background too
  24. Thank you all for your kind comments. I really appreciate it. Francis, the Valiant is the combo of the AMT duster for the front and the Revell Dart 68 for the rest. The front grill is from Harts Parts. The rest is scratch built and bits and pieces from the spare parts box. I want to go back at it to correct a few things and repaint it.
