  1. I don't like flying. I am the worst , I'm a white knuckle flyer. My father loved to fly it was his passion. When I was a young boy I ask my dad if learning to fly was hard. He told me that flying was the easy part, itjust got a little more interesting with a Messershmit or a Foker Wolf up your ass.
  2. Wow !!!! Did you have a deprived childhood or what. I thought that every kid in North America knew about and had a few Hot Wheels when they were growing up.
  3. I just wish that I could get both of their products up here in Canada. They won't ship to the Great White North.
  4. Welcome Stuart. You'll be in good company with the rest of us sports car nuts. By the way, love the handle. Hunt was one of my favorite drivers in F1 back in the 70's.
  5. Since I'm still trying to figure out my new digital camera, I'll post pictures later. I've got a couple of tresures in my stash, a 1\8th Entex M23 McLaren, and a Protar Alfa Romeo 179 F1 kit signed by Bruno Gacomali and Patrick Tambay. I've got a cool story on how I met them and got them to sign the kit box.
  6. Got mine in Ontario 2 weeks ago.
  7. Flogging Molly ? The favorite band of Feminist groups everywere.
  8. When I was growing up, the hobby shop was on the towns main street. Right beside the Hardware store and the Funeral Home.
  9. I'm lucky that I have 4 hobby shops that I can go to for paints and some kits. I shop online for kits and tools from Japan and also from some US online shops, Model Roundup is my favourite. If I could have paints shipped to Canada I'd order them online as well.
  10. Should be a interesting build. I will be watching this closly. Good luck.
  11. I've watched both and turned the channel after 10 minutes on both. Give me top gear UK anytime.
  12. Did Homer Simpson design this pile of trash ?
  13. I try to get all of the referance matrials together first. Photos & any books on the subject. Then I get all of the aftermarket decals, P.E and paints. Then I start building.
  14. In the Toronto area, it's been in the high 80's low 90's for the past three weeks. No rain in sight and my wife's migrain headache has been raging for just as long. But it beats snow any time.
  15. Thanks Ed, and have yourself a Happy 4Th of July.
  16. A little bit of all four, but mostly 2 & 4.
  17. Like the man said.
  18. Take your time and don't rush back into bulding. We all "Hit the wall" now and then and need to take a rest.
  19. This is just one reason why I'm getting a UPS account. Canada Post has been loosing customers for the last 5 to 10 years because of the internet and the ability to do alot more on line. Also the union that reprsents the workers is living in the past when it comes to wages and benifits it's asking for in it's contract with canada Post. My wife and I get 90% of our bills sent to us online and we also pay our bills on line or drop off payment to the hydro and water folks. The postal service in this country and the USA are going the way of the dodo.
  20. I use them for small package delivery every day. Good service. But all my personal bills are setup as monthly withdrawls and web banking. If they go on strike it won't bother me at all. I have a niece works for Canada Post. She makes a good buck as a full time unionized worker. But she even says that she gets paid for doing nothing all day.
  21. Your paint should be the consistancy of milk. At least that's what I was told many years ago when I was starting out with an airbrush. This advice has worked out quite well for both enamels and acrylics.
  22. Another C5R for the colletion, please have the "united we stand" decals on the sheet.
  23. Should be a good movie. But I'm still waiting for someone to do a movie about Gilles Villenuve. That would be a great movie.
