  1. Nice call with the magnets Len. Looking good, should be nice to see the end of the tunnel.
  2. Gorgeous build, nice touch with build sheet
  3. Looking good Len. I almost lost it when I read rocket ship! The news papers give me nightmares, I used to run 2 routes.
  4. Very cool Francis. It looks like you really could set caster and camber. Awesome!
  5. Little update: I’ve been working on the pumps. The mold lines and sink holes are terrible. After hours filling, sanding, I finally primed them. Pics to come soon
  6. This has really come along very nicely since I last looked. It is really starting to look like Mr. Sheppard is about to climb behind the wheel. Looking forward to the coming updates.
  7. Fantastic adaption Len, Happy Thanksgiving
  8. Noel, the Imai and Bandai are the same kit. They are of a different cast than the Monogram. I have the Monogram in my closet.
  9. Wow, Andrew, I just jumped in on this one. This is what I call a Master Class build!! Between fabricating everything except the body, and the attention to detail while making it all, I bow down!
  10. A bit more progress, painting the basic long block details, 3 shades of Alclad aluminums, Molotow, black, white. Next: pumps, ignition, the fun begins
  11. VCG Resins has the thrush mufflers
  12. Happy to see you back Francis! Stellar details as always!
  13. Imai made a 1/8 E Type in 1968, as did Bandai in 1970 according to Scalemates
  14. Great color!
  15. Nice work around with the trans Len. The grille is a huge improvement.
  16. I painted block in Alclad Dull Aluminum, taped off to paint heads in Dark Aluminum. I started working on nose cone, have about 3 hours in it, still need more. With the size of this thing, it will have to be seamless and laser straight before I can think about laying down super shiny black
  17. I like what you did for the front axle placement, much better!
  18. Wow! I forgot about this build. It looks great Len. The letters look perfectly placed and stand out really nicely against that yellow.
  19. Len, the grille from Few Sprues Loose that you ordered is really nice, I have one waiting for a build. Your Duster is coming along very nicely.
  20. Thank you very much Matt! Now I have an alternate
  21. No problem at all Noel. I really appreciate other modelers trying to help me on my journey. I have scoured the internet quite a bit trying to find them. The only gig I found out there was Bestbalsa
  22. Cleaned up edges, etc., washing and priming body parts
  23. Thank you Noel. I have been doing that, along with finding every possible photo I can find of the real subject. By doing that, I found a few things ( mostly hidden) that I have not seen in other builds.
  24. This thing is superb right from the start all the way along. Wow!
  25. Looking awesome so far.
