  1. G’day David, Boss Hog drove a Cadillac didn’t he? It’d have to be a GM product, so I guess an HZ Statesman Caprice could fit the bill. Nice work on the XK ute Michelle and I’d be interested to see what cars an Australianised Dukes of Hazzard might drive.
  2. I love the finish on this! It really looks like it’s been out in the elements its whole time. I’ve got the 66 flareside F-100 kit that l’d like to finish in a similar way. Top stuff . 👍🏻
  3. Awesome weathering, that plastic really looks like rusted metal. 👍🏻
  4. I understand fully regarding the windshield, I still get nervous when it comes time to put the windows in a model car. cool looking 32 roadster, white with the red scallops paint scheme looks striking. 👍🏻
  5. Tuff looking 57. Love the colour and the old school ss Cragar style wheels. 👍🏻
  6. That’s one tuff looking wagon. I love the colour and beautiful finish. More proof that long roofs are cool!👍🏻
  7. Gotta love a 57 Chevy, and l love this one, nice finish with subtle patina. Top stuff. 👍🏻
  8. Firstly, the concept is a very cool take on the humble VW Beetle. Secondly, the finishing is awesome, looks like it’s been driven hard through a post apocalyptic landscape. Top notch. 👍🏻
  9. I love this! It just looks….spot on. Awesome Deuce.👍🏻

I’ll check in on this project from time to time as it’s interesting to see a Firebird build thats not a Trans -Am.👍🏻
  11. Thanks for the heads up Alan. I’ve never watched Stranger Things, so not interested in building it as “Billy’s Camaro “ so a stock Z28 or a custom, lowered, big wheels is where I’m going with this, haven’t decided. Honestly, just happy to have a good kit of a late 70’s Camaro. 👍🏻
  12. Hmmm, that is a nice set of stripes. Now, I’ll just have to wait and see which one the Aussie hobby shops get in, the US version with stripes, or the Euro release without. Or, I might get some Jays resin wheels and build it as a cool custom with no stripes. 😁
  13. I recently purchased both the mild and the wild axle for my 32 ford kits and have noticed that same difference when l opened my 32 roadster and compared them to the kit axle. I wanted to use the wild drop on the roadster. Guess I’ll see how it goes when I get to the stage where I can do a mock up and see what happens.
  14. G’day Jeff, great work. The scratch made oxy acetylene welding bottle cart is a really nice touch as well. Top stuff. 👍🏻
  15. G’day Donald. You certainly don’t waste time, the paint was barely dry on your beautiful 67 Mustang and you were right into the Porsche. Lovely build with the signature lighting. I particularly liked the seats, they have that rich burgundy leather look to them. Top stuff. 👍🏻
  16. I’m a fan of the gen 2 Camaro, so I’m going to grab one. Just gotta wait for them to hit the hobby shops here in Australia. I do agree with the other post that some Z28 stripes would have been nice on the decal sheet though.
  17. Hey Michelle, that is going to look great when you get it done. 👍🏻
  18. I think it’s about time I invested in one of these magnifying visors. The old eyes aren’t what they used to be! Again, well done on your 2024 builds. 👍🏻
  19. Nice job Uwe. I’ve got this kit but I’m not going to build it as Doms F and F version, I’m going to go my own way with it. Well done on the build. 👍🏻
  20. The car builds are sweet as. But, I have to ask about the aircraft carrier, the Wildcat and Dauntless planes on the deck, at 1/700, they must have been tiny. I take my hat off to you, working on stuff that small would have done my head in!😂 Well done. 👍🏻
  21. Wow! More proof that long roofs are cool!
  22. I do agree that the saffron yellow looks better, more factory. I love these Oldsmobiles. There isn’t a lot of them down here in Australia, nowhere near as common as Mustangs and Camaros are. Some years ago there was a guy in my local area who had a light green metallic 69 442, but I’ve not seen it in a long while now, hopefully it’s being restored. Thanks for sharing your build, it looks great. I’m currently working on the Revell 71 442 and finding it a really nice kit.
  23. G’day Mike, I like what you’re doing with your Impala, l’m thinking of doing a couple of weathered cars and will be checking in on this one. Cheers, Stuart 👍🏻
  24. G’day Topher, that looks great. It’s always satisfying when you get a real nice finish straight out of the airbrush or rattle can.
  25. Well done on the build, I’ve done one of these and they are a fun project. Gotta love a VW bus!
