  1. Fantastic! Don't forget decals need a glossy surface (not matte) to avoid silvering.

    Ferrari Enzo

Wow. Even if I could do something like that (I can't), it would take me forever. Beautiful.
  3. Great, ambitious building!
  4. Great work!
  5. Another very good model!
  6. Excellent work! I especially like the little extension of the rear fender. Is that your concept drawing as well?
  7. Thanks! I'll give it a try.
  8. If your acrylic paint is drying too quickly, try Golden Retarder. I've used it with brush-painting Tamiya with good results.
  9. In my experience, Alumilite smells horrible and the resulting castings are brittle compared to Smooth-On and MicroMark CR300, my own preference. That engine does look really good - you should cast copies.
  10. Impressive! I especially appreciate the photo showing the underside of all that work.
  11. I'd happily tackle multi-piece bodies of otherwise unkitted cars. I've built a few without big problems.
  12. Just wonderful. A real holiday gift for the rest of us.
  13. Model building is one of the last refuges in an increasingly toxic world; I hope we can keep the MCM forum a civil and pleasant place.
  14. Except for the incorrect rivet count, a real beauty.
  15. That roof looks fine just sitting there, now that everything is painted.
  16. Excellent group - my favorites are the belly tanker and the V8 rod.
  17. Great work! Strange how a glue bomb rescue sometimes can provide more motivation than a new kit. About the nose ... I'd be tempted to get away from the early Camaro look by giving it something like a mild Ferrari shark nose, building on the chin it already has, with the upper edge forward of the lower.
  18. I apologize and will attempt to delete this post if you weren't serious, but, here goes: From left, I call them Cobra Daytonish, wide Cobra, Cobra Bread Van and Cobra Crate. Couldn't resist including helper cat photo. Enjoy!
  19. Strange . . .
  20. I've used Dymo tape and like it. X-acto 11 blades with just a bit of the tip broken off make a good scribing tool for straight lines.
  21. Great start!!! Outrageous originality! Hope you can blend in that roof - looks like a challenge to me. Show us the chassis, please. BTW, I have some pretty "stupid" Cobras going myself.
  22. Excellent work and presentation!
  23. Yup, I should have figured that out myself from the photos. This almost motivates me to do a mid-engine Mazda rotary-powered VW bug.
  24. Wild!!!
