  1. I started to mix that chassis, engine, suspension, with an Eldo Brougham, stretched the front fenders and customized the body but here's how I extended the front end. To keep the wheel openings intact, I added styrene to the lower portion just at the door/fender line, then on the upper part (this kit has a multi-piece body) I extended it just above the wheel openings. I opened up the hood and fitted the Foose inners as well.
  2. Wow what a fantastic paint job, great color, and I'm sure it'll end up being a super cool show car! Wheels and tires???
  3. Great job Farmer, love those "Plain Janes"
  4. Very realistic build, love the "backyard" setting too, nice modeling!
  5. Wow, that is gorgeous, love it in black!
  6. Cool project and your "shop" looks so real, love that!
  7. Lookin' real cool so far!
  8. Man I just LOVE this kind of stuff! The work you do is inspiring! I'm amazed at how much you can do to improve the look without major customizing. This and the '58 Ford are stunning, sweet!
  9. I almost always modify wheels and tires, but I LOVE the way you've shown it done! So many kits offer cool wheels and tires, but the fronts are almost always too wide! The main thing is to remember that you CAN make any wheel and tire fit any model car with some modifications!
  10. What a great tree making video, very easy to follow, well done, thank you very much! Even though I have no plans to make trees, I found this very informative.
  11. Cool project, keep us up to date!
  12. That's looking great! Always loved these Jags, nice build!
  13. Wonderful details so far, this is an amazing kit, although I haven't started it yet. My friend has and it's slow going, so many tiny parts and of course all different colors. Use glue sparingly, ha ha, that's one of my problems, always use a bit too much glue, even tiny amounts can be too much for some of these tiny pieces! You're doing a fine job of this dream car, keep going! And keep posting!!
  14. Cool project! Looks great! Too bad you couldn't find a 6 cylinder for it, like from a Gremlin or other AMC kit.
  15. I love it, very cool and realistic, keep going, but know when to stop, don't overdo it!
  16. Nice work so far, that molding looks cool, fine extra detail!
  17. Yeah, what Twokidsnosleep says, trying something more complicated is the only way to advance your model skills. You will do a fantastic job and learn more skills, or at least more patience! The P4 is an awesome car and MFH kits, while difficult, result in an amazing show piece, enjoy!
  18. Wow, that looks pretty much like the real thing! Awesome work!
  19. I love it! Thought it was 4X4, looks very cool and COULD be somewhat copied and made as a 4X4, love that look!
  20. Beautiful leather color, what is it?
  21. Wow that is truly stunning!
  22. looks cool, great color choices!
  23. Wow that sure turned out to be an awesome piece! Love it!
  24. I for one, like reading your "long descriptions" very informative and enjoyable. Love the truck, that long shifter is so cool, for the 4wd.
  25. That single tail light photoshop looks amazingly good, and so I'm surprised that it's never been done, at least I've never seen it in scale or full sized, but I like it and it looks like a natural!
