I guess my point of the local auction was missed a little. I was talking about any auction, not just automobiles. Every piece of wooden furniture is described as a 100 year old high dollar piece. Hard to believe any auctioneer sometimes.
Ever been to a local auction? They talk up everything they sell, they make a commission on the end price. How much would you bid for a car if they told you what was wrong with it. Buyers responsibility to look over the car.
Not a Chevy guy but these are hard to get and a nice straight one is even harder to find. I agree with Tom 100.00 is common at shows for these. A resto mod would be a nice way to pay tribute to this long roof. It is just different wheels anyway.
How old is the house? I ask because in my time around old houses here is this.
1 plug in a room is old wires that are on the same breaker as other rooms in the house. Do the other rooms have at least 1 plug per wall?
I think you need to check and see how many plugs are on the same breaker also.
