  1. https://www.mecum.com/auctions/indy-roadart-2020/collections/john-atzbach-collection/page/all/ Some stuff here we all like. Stunning stuff. You'll be lost for hours down this rabbit hole. I'm up for a group buy.
  2. This is probably old news but it's on the block soon. https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-359641/1965-ford-gt-competition-prototype-roadster/
  3. Hubert Platt 38 Chevy Ohio George's early Willys. Willys with running boards Gene Adams sleeper Olds
  4. 90 days in good times. Want to bet it’s 120 soon? Monopolies an amazing thing when you’re self righteous too Customers have no idea. I’d rather pay retail than stiff a jobber like that. The smaller evil empire. Even car dealers have it on their books when shipped. On the 40 just build up mount for the transverse leaf on the stock axle. Extra block of styrene will get nose up. Lots of budget cars didn’t run nose up. We won’t tell if you take that shortcut
  5. Agree. My concern over the Impala. Stores really shouldn’t shove beliefs onto merchandise. That’s customers job. But HL incredibly poorly run, just minimal competition. Guys here always use the 40% coupons and still complain about kit prices. If they’ll sell it for 60%, you know they’re paying 35–40% of msrp, right? I use coupon too. But imo they’re nearly as bad as Walmart, and only non web point of sale for many. I type slowly. What Dave and Tom said. Avenel was cool place. Visited ages ago.
  6. Like Mark said, saving the early van body is a must. Most of the early ones have a crack in the cowl where the wipers are. This body might have one, so be careful pulling chassis out of it. Fairly easy fix, just fiddly. Can't really see engine, so gluing hood shut and fixing cowl easier. New issues have hood fixed in place for the most part.
  7. 007 Ford police and Mustang I’d guess
  8. Clear resin, Paul? Can't see anything. Much better, looks great
  9. Sweet handling. Crack. Horrible drug.
  10. https://mcwfinishes.com/shop/ols/products/1967-chevrolet-biscayne-2dr-sedan
  11. I put the options and specs link over there too. Didn't think I needed one, but really like what I see.
  12. Mark asked about bucket seat availability in different thread. I looked, didn't look like they were available as normal option, but maybe a copo. Good ref I found, just rotate page at top right. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Impala/1967-Chevrolet-Impala.pdf
  13. Cool kit. Belkits coming with 1/24 soon-ish https://www.spotmodel.com/product_info.php?products_id=52039&language=en
  14. I was referring to the store buyers, the people that buy product from vendors to sell. Not about customers. Corporate seems somewhat vehement in particular beliefs. Your nor my beliefs are associated with comment. Be well. Mark, it doesn't look like buckets were standard option on the Impala. Didn't look at Caprice. But if they fit, do it. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/docs/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits/Impala/1967-Chevrolet-Impala.pdf
  15. May have been caprice only. But ez to do. Copo impala.
  16. Glad I filled my singular need for an RS Camaro and a full bumper Camaro 47y ago. MPC 73 was great kit, never liked 74-on until IROC. That body has aged well. Is that recent issue ('92?) molded OK? Sorry about replacement body. Maybe send out request on board here, lots of them sitting around I'd think. Fixable but why need to do so.
  17. Bummer. I doubt their buyers have seen the show, or know what it's about after 15 seasons. LOL. I've seen one episode, and I'm not diving down a rabbit hole to get caught up on all that.
  18. Interestingly, the wipers on RHD cars parked on the right (driver's side) and on LHD, parked on the left. The motors differed not the arms, but the 3 arms on the kit seem to only park on the right. You can see the difference on the few photos I've posted of the flat floor LHD coupe, and the RHD OTS. Not a hard fix, I didn't really see 2 sets of 3 wipers, and there shouldn't really be, since arms are the same. Windshield and roof look different without the chrome to differentiate the line at the molding. Need a kit in my hands to tell, but roof looks really good shapewise to me. Lower window line not a difficult fix, again my look better with chrome in place. My tuppence.
  19. Leather color chart. Seats from this kit on left. a pre-65 car, which I believe is also the Heller seat. Seats on the right are 65-67 seats. Few other changes overtly those years. Engine went to 4.2L from 3.8L, Moss gearbox went away for a synchro box.
  20. https://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/paint_color_reference_jaguar The polys are called "opalescent" often. Link has more, but not tons of early stuff. These chips look reasonably close to actual. Many don't. The light metallics make curves pop. 61-64 MS chart. Link is wacky, not sorted. Have to hunt, but these are relevant ones. This site has examples, but years kinda off sometimes, pic will be a S1.5 or S2 and it'll say 65-67. Umm, No.
  21. LOL. Forgot, chemo brain. Couldn't pass up giving Casey a hard time, guy knows stuff earlier than anyone. Probably telepathic. ?
  22. Lol-Just to harass the thread necromancer- 4d ht, 4d sedan, and a 2d. All big boats, that's really rare anymore Thanks for all the info Casey. Be well dude.
  23. Didn't know it was back. Really funny. Grumpy Vega coming back, they had a few panels about "Stumpy Gherkins". I still call him that, huge fan of his. Funny stuff. I'm about 12yo humor wise, but sounds doubtful.
  24. BTW, the paint on the wheels is killer. What color? That grabs the look, but i bit lighter than the dark grey in some TT's. I've always liked that MPC wheel combo.
