Great build of gorgeous car. Turned out better than the project I've never started would ever dream to be Great build thread too.

Looks like a AMT 40 Ford 5w or sedan delivery Buick Nailhead. Manifold and magneto too gluey to tell. Maybe tri-carb. None of mine to hand at moment. Glad it's fun, looks like neat start. AMT 29 A's are dead common and dirt cheap unbuilt. you've prob got the same money in this as a complete kit. Parts bin projects are cool, but this would've hit trash not parts bin. Good luck.

Calnaga for the win. Managed to score some great Rayson Craft decals off ebay too. I've got a few R-C's, mib and couple complete builders. Killer. Great build. Like the colors. What'd you do up around the cowl? I like that. Haven't seen that trailer built in a long time. Always wondered if a 1/72 airplane strut would work as a nose wheel for trailer.

Those boats were really tiny. Large jet-ski tiny. The old jet-ski Revell did in the last 15y? had small trailer too. A start point for the hull. Could look in toy dept too, suspect 1/32 speedboat good start point. Old River Rat kit had small boat and outboard. RMCM does the Westcraft out of the 64 ElCamino kit too. Chris-Craft is great kit, as are the early AMT and Revell kits. But way too big. Still, for inspiration, Mr. Boyd has a boat fetish, as do many. He finishes stuff though https://public.fotki.com/funman1712/tim-boyds-124th--12/boyd-model-boats/boyd-boats-/?view=roll

Airtrax 1/24 Ferrari 330 GTC - The Beauty and the Beast
keyser replied to Italianhorses's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Just looked in, nice so far. Will follow. 2 minor notes. The 330-365 GTC/GTS used a Columbo based 4.0 not the 4 cam of the 275/Daytona. The RMCM Colombo 2 cam is correct save for the carbs and intake. They did share the torque tube, rear gearbox and IRS that the 4/cam and Daytona used. 10173 dwelt with us for some time. Hood looks great. 330's have no hood vents that the original casting had. 365's did have the hood vents. Fortunately you haven't put them in the new hood. Here's a very late 330 GTC with 2 cam Colombo in it. Airbox from Nart can prob be repurposed. https://barchetta.mediacenter.plus/?menu=small&banner=no&op=ds&SLClose=stay&dir=1964569&slsbackgrnd=0x131313&ft=search.11545&style=Plain&SlSidx=5&SlSdir=1964569&ref=showflat&mode=fullscreen&v=ad&si=3787139 Easier than link. Please note-FAR from a concours car. -
It was filmed mostly in Vancouver and BC. Extension of British series. Found this pic of rear fender without bump, so it's Canadian Pontiac Pathfinder per Greg in earlier post. With Cali plates.

E24 a great looking car. Tamiya kit a fun build. Nice work.

Buy the unloaded ht's...Sell the Batmobile guy a snap for "reference" LOL. The Vega Funnies are getting dumped as well. Some of the Vegas are the Larsen 74, but I think new one has that front too.

1967 was the primary year the chrome was super dull. MIB 67 Galaxie HT and CVT both dull, same with 67 Impala CVT. All unopened. Also a 428 Fairlane, and one 65 Fairlane I have. No idea why. Sent for rechrome on most. I'd guess bad clearcoat, the vac plating looks even, no bubbles, etc.

Slot truck has custom running boards, stock spare, stock grille, Can't tell about tailgate. And the built slot truck has stock running boards. Hmm.

Only the first issue had the spare tire housing and mount. Later issues did not. The custom tailgate disappeared along with the custom fenders grille and running boards. Stock wheels too IIRC. At some point tailgate and hood got louvers IIRC. Have seen original in red, just as 55 Chevy was red and turquoise, but never have seen blue. Cool. I had the Willys in that series, really great looking kit.

I understand that. I'm glad you got one, that's what reminded me seeing the pic. It didn't seem to be a personal attack, nor was I vilifying you. The fact Facebook is not your thing didn't seem to deserve your taking it personally. Hence my Decaf joke. But, here we are. Sigh. Report the post if you think it's an attack. It's not about you.

Umm, he was trying to help. Have you tried Decaff? This was in Rob's post. Click on the picture, it takes you directly to pictures you can arrow thru. You don't care, sorry, but others may. I posted a link for you when you couldn't find a cheap Trabant. So I guess I'll think twice? No good deed goes unpunished. Sorry Rob, I appreciated it. Facebook sux to navigate but it ain't your fault ?

Really awful box art. Catalog drawings looked great, but when kits hit shelves, I took one look and passed. This one of those "Casey Coincidences"?? Groove Boss. Another ick box art

TV "Star"cars that never were kited

Basic Instinct Lotus chase 2. Stairs. Nice GT convertible. Needs CT action figure. -
Hey Mark, wasn't the original issue of the AMT 25 roadster without button tufted interior? IIRC there is something about that interior that changed. I have a non-tufted interior for that car, I can't find the comments.

Black Beauty from Green Hornet. 1/25. The Aurora palmer-like thing doesn't count. -
I figured we'd see the AMT Bronco after that kit out. Now with the original Bronco out, I can build both my race car haulers Nice work on thread necromancy again, Casey - LOL. ?
