  1. Does Revell USA even HAVE a customer service department? They didn't for awhile. The tape circles are the German-Revell seal tape. That's the new normal. So the local shops are the ones to worry about on kits sealed this way. Just like AMT was for years.
  2. $2645 with ad discount is 16% off MSRP of $3138 Pretty decent deal.
  3. I was shocked to remember BDDG is 87yo! Wow. As long as he doesn't use a Prius or Tesla as a push car. But he won't need one of those either or earplugs.
  4. Then there's this. Pininfarina Battista. 1900hp . What Ferraris could look like before they dumped PF. Rimac underneath.
  5. You have to think RM Deuces killed those in marketplace too. I still like the AMT because Deuce. Still have about 10 AMT in progress for the 70th anniversary. Umm, missed that badly. DTR kits were ripoff, thread around here. Mark and Casey know more than I ever will about them. I've never seen the Snake Eyes box. That's worthy of a reissue.
  6. Casey, yet again you shoot and score. Esoterica 'r Casey
  7. SSK. Excalibur Roadster, Brooks Stevens did it, early ones best, Vette guts, I actually like these. Clenet
  8. Perhaps instead of complaining, post some more? It's called fun. Threads wander a bit. Yes you're the OP. But intarweb thread patrol doesn't work great. Especially with bored worried people at home. Jag SS100 Panther Lima
  9. That nice motor has Frank Coon alloy heads. Coon as in TraCo. On eBay for 42,9K. Needs a 64 Galaxie or Marauder to slip in into. Here's a link about those guys. https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/jim-travers-frank-coon
  10. Needs to sound like first 50 sec of this, or the Jetsons car, or the Necromonger spaceships in Riddick Pink Floyd my personal favorite.
  11. I sometimes use a mechanical pencil to sharply trace the edge of the trim. Tape hard at times, it rolls. So once you get close to the pencil marks, you can just slow down and finish it more carefully, not put too much wave in panel from oversanding. Agree on primer, as ghosting can be issue (you can see where trim was). Mechanical pencil easy to clean up pre paint as well. Nice builds btw
  12. Me too. Making something that doesn't remotely resemble the original is full Palmer. Aston adding a V8 to make a fast pig "official" is even more pathetic.
  13. You can probably get a rusty hulk 1:1 without vin's for that money. LOL. Cool 1:1 dio.
  14. Better than the Sm-elby. (Smelenor?) But still a Toyota iQ. Fortunately with a V8.
  15. Unbuilt sold for less money than wheel-less wonder. and trimless, and hoodless, and... Crack. Horrible drug
  16. I saw that on the bay. It seems to be a fictional buggy, sadly based on bits from the Meyer's Tow'd kit (Corvair with Weber IDA's, perimeter frame, and VW front suspension. Tow'd has never been reissued. I think it came out in '70 or so, Mark B on here likely knows far better than I. I never had one. That one looks pretty complete despite glue bomb appearance.
  17. ? Like ^^^^^ Glad the Dude is ok. He always abides. Cool D700 van on lower left. Bigliest.

    Tractors

ROS did quite a few. They were diecast/plastic hybrids, had tons of models of European modern tractors. Nice stuff. My old source for them dried up. But worth looking. Bruder does a Cat combine in 1/24 too. Nice item. Also Heller has the Ferguson 2 versions, and a Massey Ferguson, all kits. Revell has snap kits of the Porsche and Deutz. Porsche dealers sold diecast Porsche tractor in 1/24 as well.
  20. You can get a round trip ticket from Tokyo to PHX for a couple hundred more! He already sold one ?
  21. Glad we're not mixed in anymore. Pretty good bunch in here. I learn a lot. Be well. Don't eat or inject disinfectants though. ?
  22. Nice woodwork. Orange clear darkened things up nicely, happy coincidence. Great work as always.
  23. Outstanding work on the rotors. Looks like nicely bedded in CCB. How did you do that great job? I don't have one yet, but I think I need one. Enjoy the build. I am.
  24. Wicked. Best 37 I've ever seen. Great build, congratulations. Enjoy in health.
