  1. They said nothing as of 0400 CDT. They did have a blurb about lost Aurora molds, but nothing about what is there. They did comment the 1/72 airliners were toast. The Jet Commander and Aero Commander were in there too I believe. Whether that has bearing or not who knows. Jesse, love the Rodney avatar. RIP, miss the guy, Just checked now. 1200 CDT. Nothing. Don't they know press releases on Fridays get buried? Really? Monday-Wednesday. Otherwise news cools over weekend. Eh, what do we know.
  2. They're really great looking cars. The factory only did the roadster convertible, the convertible phaeton, the 5- and 7-passenger sedans. and a limousine. No coupes, victorias. There are a few custom bodied cars
  3. Should have left some Kleenex in there to save bubble wrap (bubba wrap?)
  4. Sunny brought that thing out ages ago. Shel didn’t know or didn’t bother. they called it an AC originally. Prob stood for Absolute CXxx ? Arii/etc should have been burned at stake for the C111 though
  5. I'm just happy they all crop the hurl out of the edges of the pics. Please be a salvage title. Although untouched salvage would look better.
  6. Jeez, I need another Duesy SJN, and the Staggerwing (issued in mid-late 60's for Staggerwing club), Bonanza.
  7. Casey, master of Boolean searches. LOL
  8. 3rd crate on left, 2068. Johan 2068 is 68 Ambassador convertible? Dave, I remember those pics, no idea where I saw them. Cool stuff.
  9. I didn't know they kitted the Ark! Probably that and old drag and showrod stuff the new guys don't want.
  10. Cool, validation. I ALWAYS think I'm funny. Since we have the Goody's Headache Powder stripe or whatever they call Darlington (Stopped watching in 76 ? ), only made sense for geriatric sponsorship We really need a showrod, the Covid Car. But that's for another thread. Great point on the Beano. We'll bust this branding thing wide open.
  11. That's the kit I recalled Casey. Nice stamp Rich, I love the Stude, one of the prettiest US cars. Hope it sells. Snap new Dodge delivery van would be good toy, and kids see those all the time with FedEx, DHL, Amazon, UPS logos. Sturdy would be good. USPS logo too. Boring, but kids will like it, play with it, and may want more snap kits. Bummed my PrepH joke failed. Lol.
  12. Mark, forgot about the Fitz stamps. Never saw the Stude. Still, stamp collecting isn't growing I'd think since many have never mailed a letter. Maybe a rent check. Hopefully license was cheap. I could easily see the tandem semi-trailers, a C600, but a stretch for anything else. Maybe a Whole Foods or Starbucks van, Blackberry and Zune licenses cheap. Hertz licenses dirt cheap. PS: Thanks Casey for usual thread necromancy. Some fun builds in here. Cool
  13. Nothing says USPS like a 53 Stude Starliner. Will sate the needs of both USPS groupies. Next up- Preparation H Lil' Gasser commemorative tin
  14. Looks cool, agree that dead flesh tan not the best option. The body isn't a "Vicky". It looks like a chopped Tudor. But a neat kit anyway. Get that nose down and fix the headlights, and it'll be pretty nice.
  15. Since they label it a 72 Chevy Racers Wedge, if it didn't have a cab, it'd just be a wedge bed. The old camper/wedge bed didn't call it the Racer's Wedge. If they put a cab and chassis in, I'd think the whole mold would go in the box, or else they'll have piles of pickup beds. Prrobably will sell more Dodge pickups since people will want to use those for the wedge. So, what Casey said
  16. True dat. Lol. Surprised Maisto didn’t do more 1/24-25 early bikes in their great series. A branch from the H-D but could’ve been cool.
  17. Mark, they complain at 40% off. SMH. I’ll get offers of $5 on a $10 kit I’m blowing out. Lol. Aircraft, Sci-Fi and Armor guys never blink at retail.
  18. What a great build. Nice work Mike. Killer.
  19. Weird illustration. Rear side window looks like a tonneau and the rear targa edge looks like a rollbar. Searched here on Google, not much on this thing built. Spoilers ugly, and evidently wrong for F&F car. Rather have a stock looking one. I have Tamiya which is far better I'm sure, but I don't recall if it has a motor. Rob, do you know offhand?
  20. A convertible?? Old kit was F&F coupe. Weird.
  21. Does the Plymouth have same issue? Fender seems different. I thought Coronet looked a little off but only game in town. thx in advance
  22. Bosch injection 77 1600 78 1500. 75-76 had carb. Euro built cars diesel only and cabrio thru about 80 for sedans 90’s for Cabrio late scirocco 79-81 bumpers would be nice. Series 2 Scirocco as well. Same pan beneath both. Corrado reissue would be great too
  23. Geez, my wife uses that too. Now I use it. Is the GTX suffering the same problem? I’ve never seen comments that I recall. Funny how some kits rarely seen built, or commented on. I didn’t search because current discussion sry.
  24. https://www.nhra.com/news/2019/saluting-us-nationals-history-ohio-george-montgomery-dominates-early-nationals Great history of awesome gasser that evolved over the years, and won a couple trophies. Probably needs it's own thread, but figured I'd park it here for the moment.
