  1. That's the Revell Germany reissue of same kit. Flat box (seems taller in some cases). Same warning
  2. Dave, I like it. Casing scoop cool. Less like a funhouse mirror 56. The Bus needs to be on Coffin Corner please. Nice kitbash.
  3. Lol Just edited my post. Found article in German (awful auto-translated one elsewhere, but my German reading is passable. No idea they kitted that. Just found this. Called GT-Z as well? Cool, it had headlight covers, folding mirrors, diff TL, rear fogs Year production #'s 1982 1300 1983 550 1984 487 1985 204 So that means in the four years that the Z28-E was produced there where only 2541 made. Those numbers where not included in the USA production numbers.
  4. What was the E, Casey? A Euro market car? I don't remember that car in kit or 1:1 OK, 106 built, Auto Motor und Sport tested. Very little on web about the 1:1. I'd have bought that kit if I knew it existed. Like the Mustang T-5. Cool. Learned something.Thx man
  5. Nice kit, really builds nice short nose standard car, looks great on the shelf. I've got one sitting in pile with a Drogo nosed resin body for the LM winner. Long before the MFH, and shape is dead on. For ages, only kit with decent outside laced front Borranis and passable RS5's. Gotta love a car this quick with tiny unvented discs inboard. Mounted just below and behind the exhaust. Brings back the joy of swapping discs and pads on an E-type. Shoot me. Don't go too nuts. I may have references but pale to Gary's. You really need to do a compilation Mr. M.
  6. Maybe it's Kurt's "special brownies"? The judges I know aren't bribable, nor should any. 1:1 cars, well, that depends on who you are. ? Hygiene, we've discussed that
  7. Amazing rotor faces, wear patterns. Exhaust hanger too. Little killer stuff. Great build Bruce. Hope those aren't Harbor Freight jackstands. ?
  8. A favorite show. Also, kit brings new meaning to Mr. Creosote's "Bring me a bucket". Comedy gold.
  9. That, my friend, is well-played. Self-referential and funniest thing I've read today. A very funny show reference to a great health issue. https://www.healthline.com/health/mental-health/energy-vampires#guilt-trips-or-ultimatums
  10. Empty "thoughts and prayers" to all. Really? Vacuous and cloying at the same time. Meaningless anymore. Not a single daily mutter about each days losses, now above 100k here. Truly sorrow for those who died, and those they left. Correct usage sample: "Epically stupid not taking precautions to avoid spread of 'not-just-the-flu'." (As a fun example for the pedants of quotes) Like alternative facts. Que?? But, it's all good.
  11. Guess, like your other post, you don’t have humor, google that up yourself. My response to a funny pedantic reference (which it was, not just fancy book-larnin’) was also containing same word that started your defensiveness, misused as humor. Decimated has become to mean destroyed, when it means reduced by tenth. Original post was funny. Sorry you’re so unhappy. At least you’re not epically so.
  12. You just epically decimated him. (Not Scott. Sfan, to be transparent)
  13. Great discussion here. Like threads should be. We meandered from chrome headlights to engine ?? (which I have agreement variously, depending on fidelity). Upside Randy, if the 911 is older, you won't need a scale drip pan under it. New 911's you pop the hood and are looking at 2 fans and a plastic shroud, so that's an issue. And the "carbon" under the hood of an Huracan looks like the cheap black and green swirled plastic pots you get from Home Depot in their planter flowers. That you pay extra for. ?
  14. https://minicraftmodels.com/collections/private-aviation Been issued over years by a number of companies, in current catalog at Academy Beechcraft Bonanza V35A, and a Cessna 172. They do a floatplane 172, and a straight tailed Bonanza F33 as well, see link.
  15. https://public.fotki.com/funman1712/from-the-pages-of-y/from-the-pages-of-s/from-the-pages-of-s-1/?view=roll Tim strikes again. Neat full kit. Here's giblet pic. Never had one, really awful box arts IIRC
  16. Evil, tiny little things. One of the best looking race cars ever. Amazing engines. 312PB another favorite. Thanks Bill
  17. Front-drive drag cars. They're called Hondas. I'm confused Snake Although heresy to post in dogsled post, this was fun. Billet block and 500hp per cylinder. https://www.motor1.com/news/129113/honda-civic-fwd-quarter-mile-record/
  18. Dogsled and skidbar. Geez, never heard those but makes sense. Early chassis and enclosed frame FE’s are gorgeous. Never liked RE rails. Great stuff. Glad reissues of old tired kits are out since I missed them first time.
  19. Agree. Paint matching with test panels was a bear. Now with hand held specs it’s incredibly easy. Such a time saver in 1:1’s. The photos in Snakes link that I reposted are all a bit different due to exposure and light. Spectrometers obviate that. Sadly we can’t pop for one and find oem paint to match. Wish it were so. Paint is my nemesis because of 1:1 habits. MCW and Zero are helpful. Lucky to have them. Cobra colors was another, missed.
  20. Pretty much anything on that tree isn't needed for the 4dr. Console, hood insert, SS badged f/r bumpers. Rear seat insert, wipers and rvm, maybe hood trim, though diff hood (same trim I guess). Should be reasonable to swap back and forth.
  21. Dagmars optional. I'll take 4 I remember it as a Dragmaster, but Bill knows more than I about the era. Older I get the more I like that era. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/dode-jim-dragmaster-nicest-guys-drag-racing/
  22. Snake, sorry. I hadn't clicked on your link, which was my go to anyway. I cut paste so easier. And not enough coffee. Sorry for mistake ? Better pics of that color, original paint cars, and diff exposures. I remembered it as sl darker and more green that the original photo. Snake reminded me with green vinyl top comment that I liked this color, not what was in original pic. This color is nice. Pickle and Whiz seem to be really popular now. I LIKE greens, browns, and golds, but if it looks like any bodily secretion, I'm out.
