  1. I don't think is going to be another generation.
  2. True, but there are 1/24th scale diecasts. The last generation was short lived and quickly forgotten..
  3. 'regular guy's posts seems to be rambling and incoherent wish lists, best just to ignore him...
  4. AMT and Revell both made several Viper kits, pretty easy to find on eBay cheap..
  5. They have put those boring 5 spokes in at least a dozen kits so far...the Lawman '64 Plymouth was one of the first if not the first to get them.
  6. Yeah, I didn't buy one...I have the Countdown Series issue and one from maybe 15 years ago..didn't need another one. Just a straight reissue w/ retro box art, looks like.
  7. I'd love to see new tools of '80s and newer items, but Round 2 knows their core market of aging Baby Boomers will buy their reissues of old kits over and over again... that's been their modus operandi for some time, must be profitable.
  8. Actually, Round 2's product line is almost entirely aimed at an older audience. Reissues of old kits that older modelers like.
  9. Yeah, the time change is not fun...it messes up my sleep for a few days after the change. And the dogs don't care. At least it's daylight earlier. It could be worse, I remember being in the UK once in December and it was dark before 4pm.
  10. Cool...I'll be interested in one of these.
  11. I think Matchbox made a diecast of the Peugeot Quasar back in the 80s..a very 80s looking concept car.
  12. Yeah, could be that also...they kind of look like dechromed Magnum 500s from the AMT '68-70 Mopars with that thick, flat lip.
  13. They may indeed have. I don't think I had to get any Modelhaus resto parts for mine, I bought one builtup in decent shape, painted w/ a vinyl top and haven't changed it. I know they had resin curbside '66 Skylark coupe and convertible kits, I have the convertible.
  14. Look like Pontiac Rally II mags.
  15. Nah, that's a '58...paint looks very thick..
  16. Different experiences as a customer...I use Apple products every day, been an Amazon customer for over 20 years--order from Amazon nearly every week, use Amazon streaming,, have had Verizon for my cell phone for the last 18 years. Never had any problems. I miss local hobby shops also, but times have changed.
  17. My yard guys do a good job w the leaves.
  18. I love fall weather. After several rainy days last week, the sun came out yesterday. Took a drive to see fall colors over in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. But the fall colors are great also in my front yard (big oak out front) and in my backyard
  19. That is one thing I do miss about Arizona. The time change always throws off my sleep patterns for a few days.
  20. Had Skyline Chili for dinner...it's a SW Ohio thing, but there is a restaurant here in the Cleveland area with it. Tasty. I've been using DoorDash and UberEats for restaurant delivery a lot lately..very convenient when working from home..
  21. Yep, got mine today. Never had the Lightning version before. Has the flare side tailgate. I think I have a spare long bed '93 I bought for parts a while back, can use the tailgate from it (or was the Lightning tailgate trim unique) ?
  22. Got the AMT reissue Toyota 4x4 pickup and Ford Lightning kits in the mail today. Both look good at first glance. Unfortunately, they included the wrong tailgate w/ the Lightning kit--they included the Flareside tailgate which is too narrow for a regular bed.
  23. Reminds me of the ice Charger in one of the later F&F movies..
  24. Just finished the latest John Sanford crime thriller 'Holy Ghost', just started the latest Michael Connelly Harry Bosch crime novel 'Dark Sacred Night'. Also started Magnus Walker's autobiography 'Urban Outlaw'.
  25. One of things I've enjoyed living in the Cleveland area the last year+ is seeing big lake ships in action. Didn't see anything like this in the desert..
