So does this body have the rear door that a sedan delivery would have?
-
Not sure if the '68 is different, but I got a flat '69 Satellite hood from Harts Parts.

Well, the box art photo looks like a 1:1 longbed, and IIRC MPC never made a shortbed fleetside kit...
-
And what really makes no sense is it's a Dodge Dakota...they were so lazy they didn't even use a Chevy truck..
-
Because they can.

Had a very mellow black Friday. After a cold and gray Thanksgiving, took advantage of warmer weather and sunshine to go for a drive today, over to charming Chagrin Falls. Saw a black Ferrari 488 parked there. Went from there north to Lake Erie via some beautiful winding, hilly roads along the Chagrin River through horse farm country. Went up to Geneva-on-the-Lake to the Old Firehouse Winery for a late lunch and wine tasting, bought a few bottles. Walked down to the beach behind the winery, enjoyed a few minutes of listening to the waves lapping at the shoreline.. One neat thing is the Firehouse winery was stocked full of old firetruck toys--Nylints, Tonka, etc.

Interesting...not quite the same, but it makes me wonder how combining the Revell 32 Ford Speedwagon with a Cobra could look...

I don't recall the MPC Vega kits having a Cosworth version. I have the '75 and '77 kits, don't have the '76.

Sorry to hear of your loss, truly dreadful events in CA lately. Can't imagine going through that. Of your builds, my favorites would be the 904 and F40LM...

Ghosn arrested for securities fraud
Rob Hall replied to fumi's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Pretty familiar name from the auto industry..I've seen mention of him in car magazines for probably 20 years.. -
I wondered about that one, did a bit of research and it looks like Revell had one back in the early 80s, so I assume this a reissue of that kit.

I've had my Unimog kit for a few years (the blue one w/ the covered truck bed), and had no tire issues so far. I've left the tires bagged.

Here's a rare sight!
Rob Hall replied to Joe Handley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My '86 Mustang LX had 14" rims. My '87 Mustang GT has 15" rims. My first Jeep had 16" rims, and my current one has 20" rims (factory option, the standard rims are 18" I think). -
The current 911 GT3 RS would be cool to see. Or a Cayenne Turbo.

"One thing beforehand already betrayed: in 1:24 scale, a real bang in the vehicle area will be waiting for us" Hmm...something interesting coming in 1/24th.

No idea what particular Godzilla movie (or any) they want to represent, but did find this still from Godzilla vs Gigan.

56 Pontiac or Olds diesel?
Rob Hall replied to Modlbldr's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Who knows, there were all sorts of weird low volume stuff in the past...there were Perkins diesel taxis built from Plymouths in the 50s, I've read. -
Except for a few outages when storms damaged the lines in the alley behind my house, Cox was fine the 9 years I was in Phoenix. Cox is good here in the Cleveland burbs also, I got their fastest home service and am happy with it. I never rent the modem from the internet provider, always buy my own modem & router and upgrade every few years to a faster wifi router. I had Cox cable TV in AZ, but cut the cord on cable and stream content from Netflix, Hulu, Brit Box, Amazon, etc.

Beautiful Ferrari...I saw one in 'barn find' shape that had had an underhood fire at the Gooding & Co auction in Scottsdale a few years ago.

The flyer I saw posted by Tamiya on FB showed a pic of a TSO50 Hybrid race car, but everything was in Japanese so I don't know if it is going to be a kit or an RC car or what... Edit: went back and saw the translation--it's a 1/10th scale RC car.

Been getting freezing rain off and on all day today here in the Cleveland suburbs.
