  2. And it has your resin air cleaner to boot!! Thanks for it. I finally got around to using it. Thanks guys for the nice comments. Later-
  3. Thanks fellas! Really appreciate it. The top chop is the main reason I pushed to finally finish it. I think it turned out very well for my first chop on a 40's vehicle. Later-
  4. This is looking beautiful! Love your color combo. I did one years ago in Root beer with the light ivory (parchment) color. Later-
  5. I like it!! Later-

  8. Amazing job on that build! I love the mud on it. Keep it up and you'll make great progress. Thanks for sharing it. Later-
  9. Great year so far! My second finished project of the year and my first towards the goal of finishing, at least, 3 stalled projects in 2019. I began this one around the middle of 2017, so definitely not my oldest stalled project by far. I had gotten most of the interior done and the basics of the chassis finished. Along with that I had chopped the top and sprayed a base of copper on it before it stalled. Along with my goal for 2019 and Snake's "Bring out your stalled project" thread I figured I needed to finish it. The body is the copper base with Testors metallic red bottle paint thinned and airbrushed for a top coat. I added the engine from the Revell 32 3window and wheels and tires from the parts box. Enough talk, here are the photos. Once the sun returns for a show in the afternoon I'll get some outdoor photos. http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// http:// Later-
  10. Finally finished. Moving it to Under Glass. http:// Later-
  11. DONE! http:// Look for more finished photos in Under Glass. Later-
  12. I'm thinking whoever did it better have insurance. LIFE insurance... Later-
  13. Getting closer! http:// If you look closely at the photo above you can see a damaged area above the passenger window and the roof looks dull. I came into work the other morning and one of the night custodians who use my shop after I leave for home had either dropped the body or dropped something on it and took a chunk out of the paint and put a scratch across the roof. I have sanded the roof smooth again and am patching the chunk with touch up paint. I have to sand it smooth and clear/ polish it again. Oh well! http:// Later-
  14. Thanks Leslie, I came into work the other day and found that during the night (custodians work at night out of my shop) and found that someone had taken a chunk out of the paint above the passenger side window and had scratched the roof. I had to touch up the paint and sand the roof again with 6000, 8000 and 12000 grit. You can see the dull spot in the first picture below. http:// Other than working on that, I got the headlights and grille on and the bumper brackets installed. Getting closer to the finish line. I can't wait to get this outside in the sunlight and take some pics of it! http:// http:// http:// http:// Later-
  15. Is that 1/16 scale? Later-
  16. Man, I love this thing. Great paint work so far. I'd love to find one of these. Later-
  17. I'll be watching. I just got one last month from someone. Mine has been stripped to the light blue plastic but looks in about the same condition. Can't wait to see what you do with yours. Later-
  18. That looks great Chris. I loved following that Tim Boyd article. He did a beautiful job on that 59. Your current body work and paint looks like it turned out well and should have just as nice of a turnout as Tim's. Someday I will finish my 70 Boss 302 Mustang that I started from following Tim's article. I got held up on a poor turnout of the first hood decal. Have since gotten another but haven't gotten the courage to chance it again. Later-
  19. I'm the same. Only took getting hacked once and that was it for me. I'd love to get a set of his wheels for my 58 Vette but it's not worth the FB hassle anymore. Hopefully someday he will come up with another way to sell wheels. Hint....hint.... Later-
  20. Nice looking paint on that Mickey. What color of red is it? Your painting area looks a lot like mine. I paint on my workbench at work. I manage to get a lot done there between maintenance projects during the day. Later-
  21. Thanks Bruce. My best job yet. Later-
  22. Loving the stance and engine choice. This one is looking Great! Welcome to posting on the board. Later-
  23. I'm liking this one very much. The blue is a good color for this one. Looks like it has a bit of purple to it though in that light. Not what I've seen from this color before. Looking forward to your progress. I'm going to have to order a few of those MAD distributors. Those are what I have been looking for. Someone used to sell the caps with holes for the wires but no wires. Been looking for those again but the ones from MAD look good. Later-
  24. I'm goin'! I'm goin'! Lol. Later-
  25. Making some good progress this morning. Got the interior installed, the running boards on and wheel covers on. The body is just sitting on the chassis. http:// http:// http:// Next is the lights and grille, mirrors, taillights and exhaust tips. Later-
