  1. I like this and wondering where the motor came from. I've designed many foundations for motors looking just live this, looks about 300hp. Did you scratchbuild this?
  2. I started playing Everquest in the previous millennium after many tears in DOS adventure games. All of a sudden I was asked for a User Name and was working on a project at the Foxhollow Resort and had been using Foxhollow for my online signature on all artwork. That name was taken so I shortened it to Foxer and it has stuck.
  3. This is a credible rusying job. The randomness is spot on with varing shades .. what makes it look right.
  4. The interior looks fantastic ... so many details!
  5. One of my favorite cars also and a very nice build on this!
  6. I should have known this one since I was stationed in Neckarsulm Germany where NSU was for all of 1968.
  7. A couple of beauties! Well done bodywork.
  8. I like it .. well done!
  9. This is the Hasegawa 23 window ... all had to be filled and the rear window made smaller. WIP is here.
  10. I knew if I stalled the build long enough someone would finally put out a Kombi I could build my Dad's '56, with a lot of work still!
  11. Great job on that!
  12. Welcome and I like that your son showed you the way back to plastic! We need more like him.
  13. Like everyone said above, Acme printed on photo paper is easy. The USA plate was made in Photoshop and printed on decal paper. The plate is made from an aluminum soda can with Grandtline bolt heads. The plate itself was from http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/ which has military plates and plates from all over the world. I did have to add my plate number in Photoshop. The soda can aluminum was more realistic than anything else.
  14. That's a great weathering job ... looks like it just came off the road!
  15. That Volkswagen PE piece would be welcome as I need another for a '69 I had. Thinking of the VW Bus logo, it could be made as I showed from the Has ... kit, sanded off and applied.
  16. Love this shot with the driverr's head leaning out to see around corner!
  17. The lights look good. I get a bit too anal when building cars that have sat in my driveway. The whole thing is a looker! I've thought about getting the tail lights made by 3D Printing thou the clear red may be a problem. I made a complicated turn signal light in 3D and had it printed at Shapeways. There was no way the other dozen ways I tried could have come close and the 3D light looks very good.
  18. I had a '67 Lemans that I started to research using one of the GTO kits' Tailights were one concern to change ... how were you planning to handle that? This was a bad venture to an automatic trans, this a trans from hell. Never did get it sorted.

    Triumph GT6+

Beautiful job on that. I'd love to see some pics taken down low at eye level.
  20. Winter Beater in New England But, some drive all year long ...
  21. Beautiful build!
  22. This is how car modeling in meant to be! I've done my '54 and wife's '68 Beetles with my '69 still in the mix and my Dad's '56 Kombi needing a repaint... It's fun getting all the details right. Some links to inspire you .. I'll be watching! ))
  23. I never have anything to post in the Irked thread
