  3. This is a real beauty! Looks great with no chop ... I have one on-off the bench forever. I WILL not chop!
  4. That's very nice! Don't see enough of these built.
  5. I've been on a long sabbatical but I'm going to quell the excitement of this build with an American La France Speedster as I showed above. I'm using the #11 below as a guide but not exactly. I'm claiming #72 as my number.
  6. I have a question about this rule since I was unable to find a copy of the real rules ... " Commercial or military vehicles such as light trucks, vans, ambulances, pick-ups and utility 4x4 vehicles are not eligible." I was going to enter an American La France Speedster, which ran the 2016 and 2007 P2P's, but since the Speedsters were built on the fire truck chassis it would seem they are ineligible. These two did run the P2P and I was going to base mine on one of them. Do I get a pass building something that actually ran the P2P?
  7. That has the right look
  8. Had a trip to NJ to see the grandkids ,,, I missed so many Maserati's, but here's a few I got
  9. Welcome to the forum from the other end of MA.

  12. That is one beautiful build. Everything stands out!
  13. There was just an article on the Dajibans in the latest Car&Driver or Road and Track. I'm not sure where to get those signature tires. They are all short wheelbase Dodges because they fit on the roads of Japan, eheh Well, of course, there's many Watanabe wheels Made in Japan and different sizes. https://hlj.com/1-24-scale-rs-watanabe-deep-rim-15inch-wheel-tire-brake-set-fuj19301 Maybe time to look for a Dodge van, or cut down the many old chevy van bodies to Dajiban size.
  14. That's a tiny car, like a 1/43 kit ... you build is crisp! Beautiful!
  15. I look at all that metal and expect to see John's spectacular metal painting techniques to wow us all.
  16. I really like this, colors especially ... reds and yellows tastefully done.

    Ferrari P4

That is beautiful just to look at ... just those wipers knocked me over!
  20. I love the chrome pens for many things that BMF just can't do, but BMF has many jobs that the chrome pen's can't. Just use the right thing for the job. This is a 3D printed TR4A turn signal I used a chrome pen for. I never even thought about using BMF on it. Nothing else could have done this, short of losing it in a chrome plater's vat. The big thing is putting it on heavy, like a puddle, and it will shrink down tight and shiny.
  21. I love the smell of cut plastic! Looking real good.
  22. You're in the wrong state to invest, I think, ehhe. NY seems to be lagging on the MM issue. Try coming across the state lines where we're about to open the first shops for anyone. It's probably a bad idea unless your Aunt left millions. Estimates are like 5 million to open a shop and maybe a year or two going thru the process. ... just my guesses from watching it all here in MA. No one in any other business would go through so much hassle to start something!
  23. This is looking really good! The copper Countryman I had makes me wonder how this would feel on the road.
  24. This is all looking fantastic. That flocking job around the RS lettering is brilliant!
