  1. Don't forget the calls from 'AMAZON' wanting you to verify your account info so the can ship your 5 iPads you just bought. OH....you didn't buy them??? Give us all your info so we can protect your account!!! Right
  2. $10!!! You must be a young whipper snapper!!!! When the Monogram NASCAR kits first came out in 1983 retail was $5.00........I worked at a hobby shop and my cost was $3.33 each. I really miss $3.33 models!!!!!! But think......1983 was not 100 years ago....yet models are almost TEN times the cost now. I know and the market shrink and all that....but many of the $1.49 we bought in 1965 are the same kits we buy today at $32...........
  3. You can forward fake e-mails to SPOOF@PAYPAL.COM ....it can help stop these.
  4. One thing many big box stores do is TELL THE MANUFACTURE what they will pay. They will go to a company and say ' We want 25,000 kits and we will pay $10 each. Hard to turn down a quarter million dollars for something you make already. Not fair....the way things work today.
  5. You have been lucky enough that this is the first one you got!!!! I have been getting them for a long time. Two things, among many, to check on questionable emails. It should be addressed to you by the full name registered to your PP account. NOT 'customer' or other generic title. Before you EVER click on a button in a email 'Hover' over the button with your cursor. The buttons URL will show on your browser in the lower left. (may display in different place on different device/browser) If the URL is some odd address then you know it's FAKE! Thanks
  6. This post will not last long............ If the truth is posted.
  7. Wish I could have attended....but unable. Was the JR modified kit there or just a mock up of the box? Thanks
  8. MiniArt, ICM, MasterBox and Roden are a few of the model companies based in Ukraine, Let's pray for all of the people and companies in Ukraine.

  10. First month I'd say SLIM PICKENS!
  11. Great build, display and photos! I used same kit for my AG build.
  12. Cool project.......how does it scale out??? Be neat to display with Euro models.
  13. Great work....I like the odd Cup cars too.
  14. All those bodies are 1973-74 bodies. The 1971-72 body had the faux T-Top bar in the center of the roof. Sadly Jo-Han mixed and matched the Javelin parts using one year body with another year tail light panel. But if you buy enough kits you can 'un mix' and make a correct model. I like your builds....but I am bias.....
  15. I am up for FEW OF THE 1966 Mustangs!!!!!
  16. I want the GREMLIN!
  17. Nice work!!! I like the kit warts and all......wish it was easier to get.
  18. The OP was not a PROBLEM. I thought it was humanizing in a way. The topic going down a wrong path was a issue. No need to feel bad about the OP IMHO only! Thanks
  19. LOGISTICS the fraud tech of the era. I want an expert in logistics to tell me how this is the best way. I buy an item of ebay (model train) from a seller less than 75 miles from my house. the package traveled from the eastern part of Virginia to Greensboro NC. It then went to Cinncy Ohio. This means it went past me only to return to Charleston WV. As long as I get it in one piece that's OK.....but why do almost all packages wander so far and wide????
  20. The Jag is 1/24 and the VW Bus is about 1/20. Fun kits
  21. It had a LOT of potential to go south FAST. It
  22. My WLLGREENS has offered me handfuls each time I go in. I never take any as I stopped the mask thing mid 2020. I leave them for those that feel they must have them still.
  23. Find it strange they did not include vinyl tires like they have in many kits with plastic tires. I built a Randy Walls version years ago......
  24. That 1/20 Gremlin was a OLD tool.....they ran it to generate some cash. It was nothing like the new tool 1/20 stuff.
